Un cortometraje con una historia hermosa que fácilmente te hará identificarte con ella , independientemente que pertenezcas a la comunidad LGBTIQ+, esa serie mi primera descripción con respecto a esta historia que realmente les recomiendo ver.
A short film with a beautiful story that will easily make you identify with it, regardless of whether you belong to the LGBTIQ+ community, that's my first description of this story that I really recommend you to watch.
El mismo relata la amistad entre dos niños de familia China que viven en Estados Unidos uno con gustos y aficiones mas relacionados al mundo de las "niñas" o a lo "femenino" y otro mas relacionado al mundo de los "niños" y los deportes competitivos y a través de su amistad vamos descubriendo la polaridad entre la manera de pensar de sus padres y como hoy en día algunas personas aun mantienen roles de genero muy esquematizados.
It tells the story of the friendship between two boys from Chinese families living in the United States, one with tastes and hobbies more related to the world of "girls" or the "feminine" and the other more related to the world of "boys" and competitive sports, and through their friendship we discover the polarity between the way of thinking of their parents and how today some people still maintain very schematized gender roles.
Las historias ciertamente tienen algo muy mágico que según nuestro mapa mental nos identificamos con ciertos aspectos, aunque si bien es cierto es mas que evidente la intención de este cortometraje ya que el mismo esta íntimamente relacionado a la comunidad LGBTIQ+, yo que no pertenezco a la misma puedo decir que me encontré muy identificada con respecto a un tema que trata, los roles de genero.
The stories certainly have something very magical that according to our mental map we identify with certain aspects, although it is true that it is more than evident the intention of this short film since it is closely related to the LGBTIQ+ community, I who do not belong to it I can say that I found myself very identified with respect to a topic that deals with gender roles.
Yo crecí en los 90's 2000's y puedo decir que mis padres en la mayoría de las situaciones nunca me dijeron cosas del tipo: "esto es para niños" , "esto es para niñas" jugué y experimente creativamente mi niñez con pocas etiquetas, pero si recuerdo ver con tristeza a muchos amigos y amigas crecer y sentirse restringidos por las mismas.
I grew up in the 90's 2000's and I can say that my parents in most situations never told me things like: "this is for boys", "this is for girls", "this is for boys", "this is for girls", "this is for girls". I played and creatively experienced my childhood with few labels but I do remember sadly watching many friends grow up and feel restricted by them.
Y esta historia trae consigo un hermoso mensaje (desde mi perspectiva)no importa quien quieras ser, se feliz se creativo expresa tu verdadero ser, sin etiquetas ni ataduras, lo importante es que seas tu mismo y hagas el bien a los demás y que necesario es esto para un niño sentirlo de sus padres.
And this story brings with it a beautiful message (from my perspective) no matter who you want to be, be happy be creative express your true self without labels or ties the important thing is to be yourself and do good to others and how important it is for a child to feel this from their parents.
