The second movie in the series is today’s movie which continues the story of the previous Goal movie. In this movie Santiago plays for Real Madrid and we also get to see what a football player’s personal life can be like beyond the football field.

Santiago Muñez has already come a long way. The boy who once dreamed of becoming a professional footballer is now playing for Newcastle United. But his biggest dream is about to become real. Santiago is given the chance to join Real Madrid. For him this is not just another transfer. This is the club he has dreamed about playing for.

Santiago moves to Madrid and suddenly everything around him feels bigger. The stadium is massive. The fans are demanding. The cameras are everywhere. He is now surrounded by some of the biggest football stars in the world. But Santiago still wants to prove that he deserves to be there. His first big opportunity comes during a Real Madrid match. He comes on and scores a dramatic late goal. For a moment everything feels perfect. He has finally reached the top. But life outside football becomes much harder. Santiago is engaged to Roz. She is still in Newcastle because of her nursing studies. The distance between them slowly becomes a problem. Santiago wants to build a new life with her in Madrid. He even surprises her with a beautiful home. But fame is beginning to change his world.

Then something completely unexpected happens. Santiago is approached by a young man named Enrique. He tells Santiago that they are brothers. At first Santiago cannot believe him. Enrique also shows him a photograph of their mother Rosa. Santiago has spent most of his life believing that his mother abandoned him. Now he discovers that she may actually be living in Madrid. This news affects him deeply. While Santiago is trying to understand his family past he is also struggling on the football field. He receives a red card during a match against Valencia. His emotions are getting the better of him. Then he meets Jordana García. She is a television personality who becomes interested in Santiago. What begins as harmless fun slowly creates a serious problem.
Entonces sucede algo totalmente inesperado. Un joven llamado Enrique se acerca a Santiago y le dice que son hermanos. Al principio, Santiago no puede creerlo. Santiago misses the team flight after spending the night with Jordana. His manager Rudi is furious and leaves him out of the next match. Santiago feels angry and starts blaming the people around him. He even fires his agent Glen Foy. Things become worse when Santiago gets injured. He cannot play and is forced to focus on rehabilitation. At the same time his relationship with Roz is falling apart. Then another moment with Jordana is photographed and the story reaches the newspapers. Roz finally decides she has had enough.
Santiago pierde el vuelo del equipo tras pasar la noche con Jordana. Su entrenador, Rudi, está furioso y lo deja fuera del siguiente partido. Santiago is now losing the things that mattered most to him. His relationship is broken. His family past is still confusing. His career is under pressure. Then Enrique steals Santiago's car and crashes it. The accident leaves Enrique badly injured. Santiago takes responsibility for what happened. When a photographer tries to take pictures at the hospital Santiago loses control and attacks him. As Santiago is being arrested something unexpected happens. He sees his mother.
Santiago está perdiendo ahora las cosas que más le importaban. Su relación se ha roto. Su pasado familiar sigue siendo confuso. Su carrera está bajo presión. Entonces, Enrique roba el coche de Santiago y lo estrella. El accidente deja a Enrique gravemente herido. Santiago asume la responsabilidad de lo ocurrido. Rosa finally explains what happened years ago. She did not simply abandon Santiago. Her past was much more complicated. Santiago finally gets the answers he has been searching for since childhood. Now he has one final challenge. Real Madrid reaches the Champions League final against Arsenal. Santiago has a chance to play in the biggest match of his life. But instead of thinking only about himself he asks Rudi to start Gavin Harris. Gavin is fighting for his future and Santiago wants to give his friend one more chance.
Rosa finalmente explica lo que sucedió hace años. No se limitó a abandonar a Santiago; su pasado era mucho más complejo. Santiago obtiene por fin las respuestas que había buscado desde su infancia. Ahora se enfrenta a un último desafío: el Real Madrid llega a la final de la Liga de Campeones contra el Arsenal. When Santiago finally steps onto the pitch he is not the same young man who arrived in Madrid. He has lost love. He has faced his family past. He has made mistakes and learned from them. And now he has one final chance to prove himself.

At the last moment, when the goal difference between the two teams is level Beckham gets the final chance. His free kick goes in and Real Madrid win the Champions League 3–2. Santiago finally achieves his dream.
En el último instante, con el marcador igualado, Beckham dispone de la oportunidad definitiva. Su lanzamiento de falta acaba en gol y el Real Madrid gana la Champions League por 3-2. Santiago cumple por fin su sueño.
