Uno de mis géneros favoritos de película es el de suspenso y más si gira en torno a la investigación de un crimen, por lo que la película de la que les hablaré hoy encaja en estos dos:
One of my favorite movie genres is suspense and more so if it revolves around the investigation of a crime, so the movie I'm going to tell you about today fits into these two:

🎬 Sinopsis
Todos los investigadores se topan con un crimen que no tiene solución y termina en obsesión. Para el policía Yohan (Bastien Bouillon), se trata del asesinato de Clara Boyer, en el que sólo se tiene como pista que ocurrió la noche del 12.
All the investigators come across a crime that has no solution and ends in obsession. For the policeman Yohan (Bastien Bouillon), it is the murder of Clara Boyer, in which the only clue is that it happened on the night of the 12th.
Si bien la premisa de este film nos deja claro desde un principio que es un caso que no se pudo resolver, nos muestra el paso a paso de toda la investigación. El inicio nos muestra a varias amigas reunidas en casa de una de ellas en una pequeña comunidad en Francia, y tenemos a nuestra protagonista saliendo del lugar de reunión y tratando de ser convencida de no irse a casa para quedarse con ellas.
Although the premise of this film makes it clear from the beginning that it is a case that could not be solved, it shows us the step by step of the whole investigation. The beginning shows us several friends gathered at the house of one of them in a small community in France, and we have our protagonist leaving the meeting place and trying to be convinced not to go home to stay with them.
Petición que obviamente fue rechazada, y nos da entrada a lo que sería su asesinato, ya que ella estaba caminando hacia su casa (estaba cerca del lugar de reunión), y se topa con un enmascarado quién le echa un vaso de gasolina encima y procede a prender un encendedor para quemarla.
This request was obviously rejected, and leads us to what would be her murder, as she was walking home (she was close to the meeting place), and runs into a masked man who pours a glass of gasoline on her and proceeds to light a lighter to burn her.
Lo que me gusta es que tiene un tono realista, el ritmo de la película es coherente y minucioso, no pasan grandes cosas pero la narración es bastante meticulosa ya que es bastante detallado todo el proceso policial para resolver este caso, y con un guión bastante sencillo que dió paso a personajes y situaciones que te mantienen muy interesado.
What I like is that it has a realistic tone, the pace of the film is consistent and thorough, not much happens but the narrative is quite meticulous as it is quite detailed throughout the police process to solve this case, and with a fairly simple script that gave way to characters and situations that keep you very interested.
No les voy a negar que si me hubiese gustado que encontraran al asesino, pero es que no había rastro de nada, ya que este luego de prenderle fuego no la tocó ni le hizo más nada, la única manera era que el culpable lo confesara y ya, porque no había ninguna prueba, lo que uno llamaría un crimen perfecto.
I will not deny that I would have liked them to find the murderer, but there was no trace of anything, since after setting her on fire he did not touch her or do anything else, the only way was for the culprit to confess and that was it, because there was no evidence, what one would call a perfect crime.
Y de paso Clara lamentablemente se había involucrado con muchos chicos que eran inestables, así que si nos vamos por ahí cualquiera pudo haber sido, porque de paso no se sabía con exactitud con cuántos había intimado, porque a sus amigas solo les mencionó a algunos. Y sinceramente si me hubiera gustado un poco más tensión, tampoco me quejo ya que a pesar de que fue un film lento fue continuo.
And by the way Clara unfortunately had been involved with many boys who were unstable, so if we go that way anyone could have been, because by the way it was not known exactly how many she had been intimate with, because she only mentioned some of them to her friends. And honestly I would have liked a little more tension, but I'm not complaining either, even though it was a slow film, it was continuous.
Y según la hipótesis que nos planteamos mi hermana y yo al terminarla (nos creemos investigadoras jajaja), creemos que pudo haber sido alguien que la víctima rechazó o engañó, pero que nunca lograron interrogar ya que puede que la víctima nunca lo haya mencionado ni siquiera a sus amigas, evidentemente fue un hombre y lo más probable es que este no pasara los 30, según nuestra humilde investigación 😌, y para finalizar este tipo de crimen más que pasional fue de odio por lo que apoya mi teoría.
And according to the hypothesis that my sister and I came up with when we finished it (we think we are investigators hahaha), we believe it could have been someone that the victim rejected or deceived, but never managed to interrogate since the victim may have never mentioned it even to her friends, evidently it was a man and most likely this was not past 30, according to our humble research 😌, and to finish this type of crime rather than passion was of hate, so it supports my theory.
Pero bueno amigos, estaré viendo otras cosas y dándoles mi opinión. Nos estamos leyendo.
