Creo que uno de los géneros que menos me llama la atención y me cuesta encontrar una película que valga la pena es el de terror, no lo disfruto tanto como el de suspenso, y aunque son casi lo mismo, hay diferencias muy notables, pero no soy una experta así que si me equivoco pueden escribirme en los comentarios 😌.
I think one of the genres that least catches my attention and I find it hard to find a movie worth watching is horror, I don't enjoy it as much as suspense, and although they are almost the same, there are very noticeable differences, but I'm not an expert so if I'm wrong you can write me in the comments 😌.
Y recordé una película de este género que me gustó en su momento, y muchos la consideran como una de las mejores, pero, me gustaría compartir esta interrogante:

####| Luego de un accidente que le costó la vida a el esposo e hija de Sarah (Shauna Macdonald), las amigas de esta deciden reunirse 1 año después en una cabaña en un lugar muy remoto para explorar unas cuevas las cuáles se supone que una de las integrantes conocía, pero al cabo del primer obstáculo admite que es la primera vez que la visita y que las personas aparte que sabían de esta expedición en realidad creen que se encuentran en otro lugar explorando, y éstas se encuentran sin salida y esperanzas de que sean rescatadas. | After an accident that cost the lives of Sarah's husband and daughter (Shauna Macdonald), her friends decide to meet a year later in a cabin in a very remote place to explore some caves which one of the members is supposed to know, but after the first obstacle admits that it is the first time she visits and that people other than those who knew about this expedition actually believe that they are in another place exploring, and they find themselves with no way out and no hope of being rescued. |

####| El inicio es un poco lento, ya que tarda en llegar a la verdadera trama, pero esto no es necesariamente malo ya que luego empiezas a agarrarle el hilo, hay muchas cosas buenas que se pueden destacar de esta película, más que todo por el hecho de que para el momento en que salió fue algo diferente y nuevo para este género. | The beginning is a bit slow, as it takes a while to get to the real plot, but this is not necessarily a bad thing as you then start to get the hang of it, there are many good things that can be highlighted about this movie, mostly due to the fact that for the time it came out it was something different and new for this genre. |
| Las actuaciones estuvieron bien por parte de todas, ninguna fue sobreactuada y cumplieron con hacernos sentir esa ansiedad a medida que pasaban más tiempo en la cueva, la fotografía estuvo genial y algo que me gustó más aún fue el escenario donde se desenvolvía esta historia, ya que era algo diferente al resto. | The performances were good from everyone, none of them were overacted and they made us feel that anxiety as they spent more time in the cave, the photography was great and something I liked even more was the scenery where this story unfolded, as it was something different from the rest. |
| Los monstruos estuvieron bien personificados, el maquillaje estuvo a la altura y supieron incluirlos en la historia con escenas que le dieron el toque. Y ya que hablé de los aspectos buenos, ahora tocan los malos, he de admitir que algunos momentos fueron muy poco realistas y hubo escenas en que el movimiento de la cámara y los cambios de plano no ayudaron mucho. | The monsters were well personified, the makeup was up to par and they knew how to include them in the story with scenes that gave it the right touch. And since I talked about the good aspects, now it's time to talk about the bad ones, I have to admit that some moments were very unrealistic and there were scenes where the camera movement and shot changes didn't help much. |
| En cuánto a algunas escenas de violencia en las que podías ver la sangre volando y saliendo en cantidades grandes, pues, yo realmente no soy fanática de esto pero, hay gente que si las disfrutaría, ahora, si bien me gustó la película no creo considerarla como una de las mejores, fue buena y entretenida no lo voy a negar, pero hasta ahí, creo que no da para más. | As for some scenes of violence in which you could see the blood flying and coming out in large quantities, well, I'm not really a fan of this but, there are people who would enjoy them, now, while I liked the movie I do not think I consider it as one of the best, it was good and entertaining I will not deny it, but up to there, I think it does not give more. |
Esta es sólo mi opinión personal, como ya les dije no soy del todo conocedora de este género y cada quién piensa diferente, pero si no la han visto deberían darle la oportunidad y ver qué tal les parece.
This is just my personal opinion, as I said I am not a connoisseur of this genre and everyone thinks differently, but if you haven't seen it you should give it a chance and see what you think.
