Hay películas o series que pueden llegar a causar en una sensación de incomodidad o incluso un trauma en la vida de alguien, ya sea por el contenido violento o sexual tan crudo que se muestra, o por algún susto, y el día de hoy quiero hablarles sobre un film que incluso hoy en día me hace sentir mal.
There are movies or series that can cause a feeling of discomfort or even trauma in someone's life, either because of the violent or crude sexual content shown, or because of a scare, and today I want to talk about a film that even today makes me feel bad.

🎬 Sinopsis
La vida de 4 amigos cambia de la noche a la mañana y se convierte en una pesadilla cuando estos deciden en una tarde de ocio robar unas salchichas a un vendedor cercano, pero el juego llega demasiado lejos cuando el dueño del carro cae y muere en el acto.
The life of 4 friends changes overnight and becomes a nightmare when they decide on a lazy afternoon to steal some sausages from a nearby vendor, but the game goes too far when the owner of the cart falls and dies on the spot.
Luego del trágico accidente los 4 jóvenes son condenados a homicidio y recluidos en una prisión de menores. Es en ese lugar dónde empiezan a vivir los crímenes más atroces y crudos por parte de los guardias del lugar y sus condenas son alargadas debido a la corrupción del lugar.
After the tragic accident, the four young men are convicted of murder and confined in a juvenile prison. It is in this place where they begin to live the most atrocious and crude crimes by the guards of the place and their sentences are lengthened due to the corruption of the place.
Luego de salir de la prisión y con el pasar de los años, cada uno sigue su propio camino, y todo transcurría aparentemente normal hasta que dos de los amigos se topan con uno de los guardias encargado de los abusos y deciden asesinarlo, por lo que ambos van presos y la pandilla vuelve a unirse nuevamente para excusarlos y lograr su venganza al sacar todo lo vivido en la prisión.
After leaving the prison and with the passing of the years, each one follows his own path, and everything goes apparently normal until two of the friends run into one of the guards in charge of the abuses and decide to kill him, so they both go to prison and the gang gets together again to excuse them and get their revenge by taking out everything they experienced in prison.
Antes de abordar el trauma, debo destacar a todo el reparto y las excelentes actuaciones de parte de cada uno de ellos, el guión que fue increíble, con una dirección magnífica y un soundtrack que le valió la nominación a los Oscar por mejor banda sonora.
Before addressing the trauma, I must highlight the entire cast and the excellent performances of each of them, the script that was incredible, with superb direction and a soundtrack that earned it an Oscar nomination for best soundtrack.
Este film aborda una realidad triste, marginal , ruda y cruda, que muchos aún desconocen, y que a mis 12 años por error tuve la oportunidad de conocer. No estaba preparada para lo que estaba a punto de ver, y aunque muchos digan que no fue tan explícito o traumante, para mí lo fue, sentí una montaña rusa de emociones entre tristeza, rabia, impotencia y otros sentimientos.
This film deals with a sad, marginal, rough and raw reality, that many are still unaware of, and that when I was 12 years old by mistake I had the opportunity to know. I was not prepared for what I was about to see, and although many say it was not so explicit or traumatic, for me it was, I felt a roller coaster of emotions between sadness, anger, helplessness and other feelings.
Pasé una semana con toda esa situación en mi cabeza, pensando en el hecho de que es más común de lo que se piensa que esas cosas pasen, y que hay personas que puedan vivir sus vidas tranquilamente después de arrebatar la inocencia de todos esos niños. La película está basada en una novela de Lorenzo Carcaterra llamada "Sleepers"y causó gran impacto por su historia.
I spent a week with the whole situation in my head, thinking about the fact that it is more common than you think that these things happen, and that there are people who can live their lives peacefully after snatching the innocence of all those children. The film is based on a novel by Lorenzo Carcaterra called "Sleepers" and caused great impact for its story.
Lo irónico es que negaron el hecho de que esto pueda estar inspirado en la vida real o de que pueda ocurrir realmente en los correccionales, cuando cada vez se hace más evidente todo lo que pasa no sólo en esas instalaciones sino en muchísimas otras que se han encargado de hacer y deshacer y salir impunes. Pero no me saldré del tema, yo no volvería a ver esta película, pero sí se las recomiendo a pesar de la trama, aunque claro, si sienten que no pueden verla es totalmente entendible.
The irony is that they denied the fact that this could be inspired by real life or that it could really happen in correctional facilities, when it is becoming more and more evident everything that happens not only in those facilities but in many others that have been in charge of doing and undoing and getting away with it. But I won't go off topic, I wouldn't watch this movie again, but I do recommend it to you despite the plot, although of course, if you feel you can't watch it, it's totally understandable.

Tiene mucha razón de el fuerte tema de esta película, el cual es la manera más traumática de terminar con la inocencia de cuatro amigos; siempre he pensado así como igual que usted es lo fuerte de ver esa historia por todo lo que deben pasar estos cuatro personajes, primeramente con respecto al abuso sexual y físico y después como eso afecta a sus vidas.
Tengo un buen tiempo que no la veo, tal vez en estos días decida darle un vistazo.
