Hace unos meses salió en Netflix una nueva versión de la aclamada serie mexicana "Rebelde", contando con 8 capítulos y ya una 2 temporada confirmada. Pero, ¿cumplió las expectativas?
A few months ago a new version of the acclaimed Mexican series "Rebelde" was released on Netflix, with 8 episodes and a 2nd season already confirmed. But, did it meet expectations?
Si nos remontamos a la primera edición mexicana, ya tenemos en cuenta que lo que gustaba de esta serie era la banda como tal, las canciones, y los personajes, pero su historia nunca tuvo mucho sentido que digamos, desde una alumna que podía salir con su profesor como si fuera algo normal y este que podía acosar a otras y nadie hacía nada, esto no nos deja con mucho qué esperar de esta nueva versión.
If we go back to the first Mexican edition, we already have in mind that what we liked about this series was the band as such, the songs, and the characters, but its story never made much sense, from a student who could go out with her teacher as if it were something normal and this one who could harass others and nobody did anything, this does not leave us with much to expect from this new version.
💥 Lo bueno | The good
####Lo único que puedo destacar de esta versión serían los covers de las canciones que si me gustaron, estuvieron bien interpretados y cada personaje se desenvolvía bien esta área.
The only thing I can highlight of this version would be the covers of the songs that I liked, they were well interpreted and each character performed well in this area.
💥 Lo malo e innecesario | The bad and unnecessary
####La trama transcurrió muy rápido y de paso era muy sosa, plantearon algunos problemas en la misma, pero las soluciones fueron muy tontas (por no decir otra cosa), ninguno de los personajes tuvo un buen desarrollo, creo que los guionistas y productores se quedaron cortos, sabemos que es una serie juvenil, pero eso no quiere decir que no se les pueda otorgar un buen crecimiento o por lo menos algo más natural y no tan superficial.
The plot passed very fast and in passing it was very bland, they raised some problems in it, but the solutions were very silly (to say the least), none of the characters had a good development, I think the writers and producers fell short, we know that it is a youth series, but that does not mean that they could not be given a good growth or at least something more natural and not so superficial.
El único cambio notable que le hicieron a esta versión fue el tema de la diversidad sexual, y no fue necesariamente bueno ya que hasta se veían forzados, pero creo que era por el hecho de que la trama era muy vaga en todos los aspectos. Creo que esta plataforma como muchas en la actualidad tienen el mismo problema con las nuevas series ya que no concuerdan con la realidad de los jóvenes hoy en día.
The only noticeable change they made to this version was the theme of sexual diversity, and it was not necessarily good since they even looked forced, but I think it was due to the fact that the plot was very vague in all aspects. I think this platform like many nowadays have the same problem with the new series as they do not match the reality of young people today.
Ya de por sí yo no tenía ninguna expectativa al respecto y al medio verla pude darme cuenta de que cuando no esperas nada no te decepciona nada jajaja, porque todo es más de lo mismo, y esta nueva adaptación no fue la excepción, pero ya estamos acostumbrados a ver este tipo de producciones que no te dejan nada.
I didn't have any expectations about it and when I saw it I realized that when you don't expect anything you are not disappointed hahaha, because everything is more of the same, and this new adaptation was no exception, but we are already used to see this kind of productions that leave you with nothing.
Supongo que es aceptable para pasar el rato y si no tienes nada que hacer, como muchas veces nos pasa, pero son producciones vacías y con mucho relleno, así que le doy un 4/10.
I guess it's acceptable to pass the time and if you have nothing to do, as often happens to us, but they are empty productions with a lot of filler, so I give it a 4/10.
