Hace unos días terminé el semestre, y decidí por fin empezar una serie que llamó mi atención hace un tiempo pero no había podido verla. El protagonista es uno de mis actores coreanos favoritos y este es un papel un poco diferente al que estoy acostumbrada pero me gustó. Les hablo de:
A few days ago I finished the semester, and decided to finally start a series that caught my attention a while ago but I hadn't been able to watch it. The main character is one of my favorite Korean actors and this is a bit of a different role than what I'm used to but I liked it. I'm talking about:
🍿 Vigilante
####| Es una serie surcoreana que se estrenó este año, está dirigida por Choi Jeong-yeol y consta de 8 capítulos de aproximadamente 60 min cada uno. ####| La serie sigue la doble vida de un estudiante modelo llamado Kim Ji Yong, después de pasar por ese trágico momento en su vida, decide estudiar para convertirse en policía, pero decide darle un cambio a su vida cuando se encuentra con que el asesino de su madre sigue cometiendo crímenes y la justicia no hace nada al respecto. Ese hombre se convierte en el primer objetivo de muchos a los que decide hacer pagar por seguir haciendo daño. | The series follows the double life of a model student named Kim Ji Yong, after going through that tragic moment in his life, he decides to study to become a policeman, but decides to give his life a change when he finds that his mother's murderer continues to commit crimes and justice does nothing about it. That man becomes the first target of many whom he decides to make pay for continuing to do harm. |
| La cosa se complica cuando una reportera lo presenta a la televisión con el sobrenombre de “Vigilante” y lo pinta como un héroe. Por ello la policía decide empezar a investigar los asesinatos y disponen de una unidad especial para que lo detengan. Por otro lado, Ji Yong se enfrenta a un caso más grande que él cuando se topa con una empresa criminal cuyo cabecilla es uno de los comandantes de la policía y luego director de su universidad. | Things get complicated when a reporter introduces him to television with the nickname "Vigilante" and paints him as a hero. As a result, the police decide to start investigating the murders and have a special unit to apprehend him. On the other hand, Ji Yong is faced with a case bigger than him when he stumbles upon a criminal enterprise whose ringleader is one of the police commanders and then principal of his university. |
🎬 Opiniones | Opinions
####| No voy a decir que fue perfecta porque no es así, pero en términos generales me pareció emocionante y bastante entretenida. Nam Joo Hyuk (Kim Ji Yong), se veía demasiado guapo y genial jajaja, este papel le quedó como anillo al dedo 😌. Me encantó el hecho de que fue una serie sencilla pero que fue al punto sin agregar tanto relleno o situaciones innecesarias. | I won't say it was perfect because it wasn't, but overall I found it exciting and quite entertaining. Nam Joo Hyuk (Kim Ji Yong), he looked too cute and cool hahaha, this role looked great on him 😌. I loved the fact that it was a simple series but it was to the point without adding so much filler or unnecessary situations. |
| Realmente disfruté toda la trama, las actuaciones, las escenas de acción, las escenas compartidas del protagonista con el primer detective encargado de atraparlo, el caso final y como éste giró en torno a la corrupción de la policía para encubrir actos criminales que sólo beneficiaban a los altos mandos y el afán de esta misma institución hasta el final de encubrir la verdad de los hechos. | I really enjoyed the whole plot, the action scenes, the shared scenes of the protagonist with the first detective in charge of catching him, the final case and how it revolved around the corruption of the police to cover up criminal acts that only benefited the top brass and the eagerness of this same institution until the end to cover up the truth of the facts. |
| Pasé rabia por el hecho de ver cómo esos vacíos legales y alegaciones absurdas impedían que esos personajes pagaran solo 1 o dos años por crímenes tan macabros, pero la ley funciona diferente en todos los países. En síntesis, siento que fue una muy buena producción, aunque el final fuera algo agridulce por cómo se desenvolvieron los últimos acontecimientos. | I was angry to see how those legal loopholes and absurd allegations prevented those characters to pay only 1 or 2 years for such macabre crimes, but the law works differently in every country. In summary, I feel it was a very good production, even if the ending was somewhat bittersweet because of how the final events unfolded. |
