The Phantom (1996) film brings alot of memories as a young child, I had no idea the comic was produced in that year 1936( i was not even born) and thanks to @cineTv for this amazing throwback post.

The Phantom is an amazing thriller movie based on a superhero storyline which started off with a young child who watched his father killed after an invasion by a notorious leader of a brotherhood on their ship. The little boy quickly escapes from the ship by diving in the water and as destiny would have it, the tides took him to a village where he was picked off from the shores , he was initiated and handled over a ring which signified an absolute allegiance to ensuring that evil deeds are not upheld, this was the birth of the superhero we can Phantom.
The story spreads further to Phantom carrying out superhero activity as he had to stop enemies like Quill and Drax who were out to carrying out evil activities such as corrupt practices, stealing and kidnapping. It almost involved a female character in the person of Diana who was a journalist investigate these evil deeds. Destiny brought Diana and Phantom as she was kidnapped and he came to her rescue.My interesting part in the movie was Phantom having dual identities while Diana uncovers, though I was little but I could see the chemistry of perceived love between them also.
