I thought about a very interesting movie I had seen at a friend's house. The title of the movie is "Jolt". Jolt is an action based movie with a mix of humour and comedy.
The movie begins by showing us the life of the main star Lindy who had intermittent explosive disorder, as funny as that might sound it was extremely dangerous, I remember screaming when she was triggered by emotions or interactions with anyone. Well, her psychiatrist Dr Ivan had found a way to handle the disorder by creating an electroshock vest, she had to wear the vest anywhere she was heading to with the remote control in her palm, electrocuting herself at intervals to avoid getting triggered. It was working effectively as she was able to handle the disorder properly but with time, it was not becoming useful anymore as it had little or no effect on her anymore, it would seem that her body had adjusted to overcoming the effect of the shock.
Dr Ivan seeing that his apparatus was being to fail, he tries an emotional solution for Lindy by suggesting that she tries a way to form an emotional attachment to someone. She decides to try online dating app which leads her to a gentleman called Justin. They had a beautiful dinner with Lindy electrocuting herself in order to avoid ruining the date as she seemed to have an issue with the waiter's attitude. Justin had a good sense of humour, he connected with Lindy quickly as she could finally find someone who cared about her, as they had share a bliss moment of romance, Justin accepted her for what she was even after seeing the vest on her body. The next day Justin leaves for work after an emergency call, Justin never made it back to Lindy as the police informed Lindy that he died mysteriously. The police assured Lindy that they were investigating the case and that they would need her cooperation. Lindy offered that but nothing significant was done about the case.
Lindy assumes the role of an investigator as she moves to uncover what and who was behind the death of your supposed lover. Lindy breaks into the police station, dribbling and stealing evidence from the Detectives Vicar and Nevin. She traced Justin's history to the organisation he worked off and attempts to break inside but was stopped by the head of security Delacroix who informs his boss Fizal about the activities of Lindy. Delacroix had attempted killing Lindy but all efforts were abortive as Lindy had embarked on a solo mission to bring down the organisation only to find out that Justin was not dead, Justin had faked his death to ensure that Lindy kills Fizal on his behalf, so she could easily take the blame. The movie also showed funny scenes of Lindy and the Police Detectives Vicar and Nevin who had tried their best to halt Lindy from getting involved.
