Hello everyone, I decided to do a movie of review of one of my best movies in 2020- "Extraction"
INTRODUCTION AND CAST Extraction as the name sounds is an one hundred and seventeen minutes movie about a black market mercenary trying to rescue the kidnapped son of a drug lord but got into trouble and chaos as both drug lords in India( Ovi Mahajan Senior) and Dhaka( Amir Asif) go head to head

THE PLOT
The movie starts off by showing different lives of key casts in the movie who had no idea they would soon be connected together in a survival contest to live or die. This whole drama started when Ovi Mahajan, the son of the Indian drug lord in prison decided to sneak out of his house to a nearby club to chill with his friends while his Protector Saju had no idea, He(Ovi) had no idea what was coming, as he was kidnapped by men disguising in police uniforms at the back of the club with Ovi's friends getting shot.

This was the event that led to everything. The mission for Ovi's father and Saju was to find a way to rescue Ovi who had been kidnapped and smuggled to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Saju reaches out to the head of a black market group Nik Khan who paid the star of the movie Tyler Rake a visit to convince him to take the task, although Tyler had been in disarray after losing his son.
Tyler accepts the mission knowing he had nothing to loose, the deal was to extract Ovi and upon extraction Ovi's father was to pay the required money but this didn't go well as planned.

Tyler successful saved Ovi from the kidnappers den after killing the captors in an unforgettable fashion. Tyler had planned an escape route out of Dhaka with the boy and his team was waiting for him at the river but Saju who was the head of Ovi's father men had other plans which certainly did not include paying the money for capturing Ovi rather he went on a solo mission to kill the team at the river and kill Tyler then retrieve Ovi- Such a dumb thing to do.

Nik alerts Tyler of the ongoing heist, Nik quickly arranged for a helicopter transport out of the city for Tyler, asking him to abandons Ovi in the wood since the mission was not as agreed before. But Tyler declined the invitation to run away seeing Ovi would be alone and as I said he had nothing to loose.The word had spread about the river incident,the boy was missing at the kidnapper den and Asif the Drug lord of Bangladesh was now aware of what was happening. The mission was pretty clear now..FIND AND HUNT DOWN TYLER AT ALL COST AND BRING BACK THE BOY.

This time Tyler didn't just have to worry about Saju, he had to worry about the corrupt police units under Asif's payroll, who diligently obeyed his command. The entire city was looking for Ovi and Tyler who were running round the city escaping all plots thrown at them, intense fighting and action was going on, one which I was so scared about as Tyler had seen a bit of hell trying to save Ovi.
Tyler remembers a friend in Dhaka Gaspar who he called for help, but he had no idea that Gaspar had collected the $10 million bounty on Ovi's head and this was only a trick to convince Tyler give up Ovi to Asif. Tyler refused which resulted in a battle with Ovi stepping in to kill Gaspar who almost killed Tyler during the fight.

At this point Tyler knew the only way out of Dhaka was to work as a team with Saju to face the police. Saju on the other hand had sustained injuries from his fight, having sober reflections that the battle would be intense and he might never see his family anymore. Saju agreed with Tyler and the final mission to leave Dhaka was on the way. Asif and his commander had policemen all over the city checking everyone passing. The plan was for Saju and Ovi to make it pass checkpoint while Tyler creates a distraction and keep the policemen busy. It was a smart move that worked with Tyler drawing attention to himself in a fierce battle with the police, while Saju and Ovi had made it pass checkpoint only to be spotted by an officer and you know what happens next- Saju results to gunfire while protecting Ovi, he asked Ovi to hide in any of the abandoned vehicles on the bridge. Ovi had to move from vehicles to vehicles hiding away from the police while Saju had so much on his plate to chew calling on Tyler to come quickly, but before Tyler could reach it was already late.Saju died trying to keep his bosses' son alive.

Nik had an escape transport at the other side of the bridge waiting for Ovi and Tyler to cross over. Tyler still had police forces chasing at him and he was badly wounded,just struggling to make it through but he was sniped by Rashid (Police Commander) and shot in the neck by Farhad( An upcoming solider for Asif) Ovi seeing Tyler on the ground tried to run back but was held by Nik who escorted him to the helicopter but that was after she snipped Rashid from the bridge.
Tyler had flashbacks of the memories about his son. It was clear to him that he wasn't responsible for the death of his son rather Lymphoma did.It ended with badly wounded Tyler jumping into the river and Ovi going back home with Nik's team and Asif watching from a distance that He lost the battl
My favourite part in the movie was years later, Nik pays Asif a visit killing him in a toilet for what happened to Tyler.

SPOILER: EXTRACTION 2 might be out soon after the last scene showed Ovi who had resumed school in India went to swim, he dives in the pool and when he came out of the water, we could see a blurry image which looked like Tyler!!
