I believe Black Mirror is one of the best series ever produced. If you have not yet watched these gems you are missing out on some of the best stories of modern times.

Season 5 came out with 3 new episodes and while i easily could have watched all of them last night it was already quite late so I figured I would spread it out a bit. I am not going to put any spoilers in here so don't worry about that.
[source](https://www.indiewire.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/black-mirror-striking-vipers.jpeg?w=780)I have to say that I groaned a bit when I saw Anthony Mackie on the screen of my beloved TV show because I tend to think that he is one of the worst actors in Hollywood. This might not be entirely his fault but his roles might be what helped give me this impression (small bodybuilding champion in Pain and Gain and my least favorite Marvel super-hero... to name a few.)
However, he did a really good job in this and it kind of shows that my disdain for him might have everything to do with the roles he has taken and not so much his ability as an actor.
The first episode of season 5 is just as captivating as most of the other ones. This preview does not reveal the plot either so go ahead and watch it with spoiler-free confidence.
That trailer sent a chill up my spine even though I have already seen the episode in question. Black Mirror as a whole kind of focuses on the dangers that technology poses in our lives and a lot of it hits close to home. I think that in many ways they are predicting the future quite accurately, some of the topics they approach have already started to happen and the ones that haven't yet.... well, i can totally see many of them being works in progress for tech firms out there.
If you are not watching Black Mirror yet, I actually envy you, because you have something like 20 hours of engaging, well-written shows in your future. so get on it!
