I went to go see this today in a 3D theater and was pretty excited because as many of you know I live in a town where the theaters rarely, if ever have any movies in English at all. However, I am currently in Hanoi and all of the movies come here and they are not overdubbed.

The opening sequence is pretty intense and takes place underwater, which always makes things more freaky for me because you have the added bonus of drowning as a way to go. I know this is pretty typical of movies that they get you interested with a shocking first 5 minutes and I feel as though they did a pretty good job in this one.

The action stays pretty consistent and a lot of the story centers around Chris Pratt's character being needed in order to capture "Blue," a raptor that he raised since birth that has some sort of connection with him and affinity towards him that results in Pratt being like a parent to him (IE, it doesn't want to eat him immediately.)

The special effects are great and there are some truly breathtaking location choices made. However, the negative aspects of JP is in this one as well as all the rest of them. That is, they are incredibly predictable. There are virtually no instances of anything that happens that you are surprised about other than "gotcha!" moments where something jumps out (this was even better in the 3-D theater.) The usual aspects of being trapped by some horrible circumstance that seems unwinnable only to have someone intervene at the last minute over and over again, gets a bit tiresome.

Also the cages that the dinos are kept in (yeah, they did that again) are shockingly easy to open - to the point where a child and someone who has never actually interacted with the cages before manage to get them open easily, yet we are supposed to believe that it keeps a T-Rex safely inside otherwise.

Of course the good guys win but not before unleashing a bunch of dinosaurs onto the planet where Jeff Goldblum warns the world that we may have just done something to lead to our own extinction. Sure Jeff, because 20 some-odd dinos are obviously going to easily overwhelm the military of all countries. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

I would say that because the film is visually pleasing and action-packed it is worth seeing. But there is nothing groundbreaking about anything else in the movie... but i really didn't think there would be.

Very well elaborated, now adays you'd hardly get a movie that will move you from ur seat, all actions are predictably especially that of hollywood, we end watching for the pleasure of nice graphics as you rightly put it.

I understand you when you talk about that in a town there are few functions that are worth going to see. Good thing you saw that movie I'm dying to avoid it and in 3D much better. regards

Oh my god. This film has got released. I didn't know about it. I am really eager to watch this action thrilled movie. It 's gonna me more hit then the avengers even. Nice film , looking forward to watch it. May be tomorrow.

It's been 25 years since first "Jurassic Park" has hit the screens, and it's great to see another part of the Isla Nublar saga - surely, this film aims to please every fan of both the original trilogy and previous installment. In doing so, director J.A. Bayona and screenwriters Derek Connolly and Colin Treworrow covers wide range of contemporary social issues, and this is the most curious aspect of the film. It's safe to speak now that "Fallen Kingdom" clearly attempts to be thought-provoking story, even it's still a big, bright popcorn blockbuster with dinosaurs. I wouldn't say this film is the most interesting part of the franchise in terms of entertainment, and it certainly has a lot of minor flaws, but it's still seems like an enjoyable ride into the world of Jurassic Park.

In my opinion Colin Trevorrow is one of the main reasons why the jurassic world movies suck and is simply not capable of handling the jurassic franchise. I hated the first Jurassic World because of the complete absence of suspense resulting from Trevorrows uninspired directing style. I was really looking forward to Fallen Kingdom because of Bayonas position as a director because he is someone who is experienced in delivering suspense and making you care for what is happening on the screen. I gotta admit that i havent watched the movie yet but having watched your review it seems that Bayona is doing a good job in terms of directing but is not able to cover up for the lack of a proper screenplay which is ironically written by Colin Trevorrow.

Owk i love this review because i thought of going to see it today and you just gave me a reason to. Atleast now i will know not to concentrate on the story or mistakes but juat enjoy the movie and its action.

I hope you do a review on deadpool2 coz i hear its crap. Wana hear you view on it so i dont get to waste money going to the cinema.

Hahahaha, this movie led to the make of the seasonal (series), though can't remember the name again. I was just too predictable

Beautiful review.

The movie still look okay with 6-10. I love seen all those special creatures in movie. The presence of those creatures are the reasons I love lord of the ring, Merlin and some other movies like that.

Though, predictable like you said, but in sure it would worth my time especially with that creature... Lol

It's obvious that you are enjoying your new surrounding.
