When the Wayans family is involved in something and it ends up being awful, I don't think very many people are surprised. This family has a long line of crap films and TV shows and Marlon is probably the biggest offender as far as garbage shows and movies are concerned.
The story of this film isn't important because the entire things is just dumb. The create whatever scenario they need to in order to have Marlon play 6 different people - none of which are funny. Well, i suppose one of them was kind of funny, but only in bursts. The rest of the characters were annoyingly dumb.

"Eddie Murphy is black and he did a movie that made a bunch of money.... We are also black so let's do that."
Only problem is that Nutty Professor was actually a pretty funny movie with interesting characters and Eddie is actually a pretty good comedic actor. Sextuplets is a mess and Marlon is not a funny person, especially on his own... especially especially when he is playing multiple people in the same scene.

Good grief imagine the shit-storm that would occur if they did this in reverse.
I admit that i did not watch all of this, I scanned through a great deal of it and this is very likely the worst, most un-funny piece of crap that I have seen in a very long while. Marlon proved to the world that he is not useless as an actor many years ago in Requiem for a Dream. Unfortunately he has done almost nothing worth talking about since then. Sextuplets is just awful. If going "straight to DVD" was still a thing, that is certainly what would have happened here.
