This movie didn't get much in the way of critical acclaim, as a matter of fact it was pretty universally panned by critics and I have to say that I completely disagree with them as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Described by one critic as "Alice in Wonderland... with machine guns," this film takes place in the mind of one of the characters nicknamed "BabyDoll" who is institutionalized in a mental asylum after being blamed for her sister's death. She incorporates her fellow inmates into her fantasies where she and her fellow inmates are ninja-like characters who find themselves in to be honest, quite absurd situations such as fighting giant Samurais with rocket launchers and mini-guns.
There are other fantasies that involve taking on Nazi robot warriors and what not. Ok, now that i see it in writing it is a bit ridiculous and I can kind of relate to some of the negative talk about it. However, as someone who enjoys fantasy stories and movies as well as comic books, sometimes I appreciate absurd situations.
The film also has an incredible musical score and the songs contained inside are tunes I would likely enjoy even if the movie didn't exist. It probably doesn't hurt that the main characters in the film are reasonably good-looking.

I think the cinematography, action sequences, and music easily make up for the completely preposterous storyline.
it has a 4 / 10 rating on official sites and I completely disagree. I'm gonna pump it up a bit
