This was the directing debut of Seth Rogan and some other person whose name I didn't recognize. The movie, for the most part represented the various characters as themselves or at least the current public impression of what the public thinks they are like - who knows?

This movie is an apocalypse film presented from the point of view of how it would be to go through that if you were famous and living in Los Angeles. Everyone in the film plays themselves. There are no characters... or are there?

I suppose when your friends are all the people starring in this film and then well, lots more celebrities, it is easy to make a film. If you know

and want everyone to get together to make something with a budget of $32 million. I think you could probably make a film.

the thing i really enjoy about this movie is the fact that well, I feel like if these stars are they way the are presented then they are just acting naturally. If they are not like this but are just acting the way the public thinks they would act (in real life) then that is even better.

I really believe that this started out as a mere conversation between celebs about making an absurd movie and someone took it seriously and actually decided to make it. In the end I really enjoyed it, especially the bits where Danny McBride gets introduced. I have no idea if any of these guys are really like this in real life, but I do appreciate the fact that they are able to have a laugh at themselves since every persona that is presented is a pretty exaggerated version of a human. And remember, that laugh, for us.... only made them about $70 million

The best part about that movie was when Channing Tatum became Danny McBride's gimp. I was laughing my ass off.

We love just about anything that Danny McBride is in. If you haven't seen Your Highness, please check it out. So funny!

Although 'This is the end' does not have the greatest storyline in the history of film, it is a very inventive movie in its own way. The fact that every actor and actress plays him or herself makes the movie quite original and refreshing. Besides that, there is also the fact that the makers took an overused theme, the end of the world, and made it completely their own.

'This is the end' hasn't failed a second to make me laugh. It is a very clever and entertaining comedy, with hilarious and dirty dialogues. I do have to admit, however, that the storyline can feel a little bit too ridiculous from time to time, even for this kind of movie. The acting in the movie was not that spectacular, but the actors involved were all born for this kind of movie.

For anyone who can truly appreciate a hilarious movie which is made specifically to humor and entertain people, and has no other hidden agenda whatsoever, this is definitely a must watch.
