Marjaavaan is an Indian film released in 2019 starring Sidharth Malhotra as Raghu Tara Sutaria as Zoya and Riteish Deshmukh as Vishnu When I watched Marjaavaan I immediately realized it wasn’t just an action movie It’s a story that blends love friendship betrayal power revenge and justice What struck me the most was how the love between Raghu and Zoya gets caught in the middle of a conflict sparked by someone who wants to destroy everything
RAGHU AND ZOYA – A DIFFICULT LOVE
The story introduces us to Raghu a powerful man involved in the world of crime but who isn’t a bad person at heart His life changes when he meets Zoya, a young woman who cannot speak but possesses a unique personality and a kind heart Little by little they get to know each other and true love blossoms between them For the first time Raghu realizes that there may be something more precious in his life than power and conflict But their happiness won’t last long
VISHNU – THE TRUE ENEMY
On the other side stands Vishnu,a powerful man who wants to control everything Vishnu and Raghu have been at odds for a long time but when he discovers the relationship between Raghu and Zoya, the situation becomes even more dangerous. Vishnu wants to show Raghu that a man with power can destroy everything But Raghu refuses to give up He’s ready to fight for Zoya and for what he believes in.
WHEN LOVE BECOMES A WAR
I especially loved the way the film gradually transforms a happy love story into a tale of sadness and conflict Raghu realizes that Zoya has become the most important person in his life But his enemy realizes that Zoya is the weak spot through which he can get to Raghu. From there, the story becomes much more intense Raghu isn’t just fighting for money or power. He fights for his love, his honor, and justice.
RAGHU VS VISHNU
When the situation spirals out of control Raghu and Vishnu head toward a direct confrontation Vishnu believes that power is the only thing that matters. Raghu on the other hand, believes that a person must defend what they love, even when the odds are against them What I liked about Raghu is that he refuses to simply accept having the people he loves taken away from him I’m not seeking revenge I’m seeking justice.
From there, the story becomes a clash between two men with two completely different worldviews
SECRETS AND THE FINAL BATTLE
As the story progresses, events become increasingly complex Raghu must face betrayal loss and difficult decisions Vishnu pursues his plan determined to completely break Raghu But Raghu proves he’s not a man who can be easily destroyed Finally the conflict reaches its climax and Raghu confronts Vishnu knowing that everything hinges on this battle
THE ENDING—THE PART THAT SADDENED ME THE MOST
The ending of the movie is particularly moving and sad When I watched the movie I truly felt a sense of sadness especially seeing how deeply Raghu and Zoya loved each other yet still ended up being separated Their love was beautiful but fate and the conflicts surrounding them made it deeply tragic Raghu pays a very heavy price but he tries until the very end to stand up for what he believes is right What made Marjaavaan stick with me wasn’t just the fight scenes It’s above all the love between Raghu and Zoya, and the way Raghu is willing to sacrifice everything for the person he loves After finishing the movie I felt like Marjaavaan told the story of a man trying to protect his love while his world crumbles around him.
MY THOUGHTS
For me Marjaavaan has many elements that make it an interesting movie: Action and fight scenes The love between Raghu and Zoya Vishnu the main antagonist Sadness and emotion Revenge and justice Friendship and betrayal I particularly enjoyed Sidharth Malhotra as Raghu as he does a great job portraying a strong man who hides a great deal of love and compassion deep inside Riteish Deshmukh as Vishnu becomes an antagonist who profoundly influences the entire story
MARJAAVAAN
A movie you start watching thinking it’s an action film but end up reflecting on love fate and justice.
Raghu fought he loved Zoya and Vishnu wanted to destroy everything
And you if you’ve seen Marjaavaan do you prefer Raghu or Vishnu?
