Les Recomiendo una serie: Dulces Magnolias // I recommend a series: Sweet Magnolias

Today I'm here again to share with you, or rather recommend you a Netflix series that maybe you don't know because it's not very famous but I personally liked it a lot, it's about Sweet Magnolias..

Dulces Magnolias is a series that consists of two seasons, it is a Netflix original production released in 2020. The plot is a romantic drama and a very interesting aspect of which I found out at the time of writing this post, is that it is based on a series of books by the writer Sherryl Woods which is also called Sweet Magnolias.

The story is centered on the lives of three friends and each of their dramas. The first of them is Maddie Townsend, a housewife with three children who is going through a divorce and is trying to overcome it and not die trying; the second of them is Dana Sue Sullivan, a prestigious chef who owns her own restaurant called Sullivan's, has only one daughter and has been separated from her husband for some time. The last of them is Helen Decatur, a prestigious lawyer, who has not been able to realize her sentimental life but is very successful professionally.

The three are great friends and call themselves the magnolias, they have a tradition of taking a night out for margaritas and conversation, what we could call a "Girls' Night Out". They are each fighting their own battles, but the important thing is that they can always count on each other, they respect and support each other even though they are different.

It is a series of which little is said but it is very beautiful, women with character and that in spite of going through difficulties they continue forward without letting themselves be stepped on, women with values and with God as the center of their lives. It is a production without sex scenes, where we are taught that despite the problems there is always an amino and that friendship is a value that we must cultivate.
