Review
All Eyez on Me is a 2017 film about rapper Tupac Shakur, that was not in the theaters long. I am a big Tupac fan, and his songs are on my workout playlist. I watched this on my HBO Movie Channel last night.
Demetrius Shipp Jr. was very good as Tupac, but this movie was horrible. The editing was very choppy. This was due to the fact that the movie covered Tupac from birth to death. I HATE when movies try to put a persons life into two hours. Every time a director tried to do this you jump from clip to clip, and the continuity is horrible. All Eyez on Me suffers from this.
If you want to watch a movie about rap watch Straight Outta Compton, and skip All Eyez on Me. If you want to experience Tupac just put on the album and turn up the volume.
Rating - D (Wait for it to come on Netflix - Watch when you run out of stuff to watch)
