My Review
As will all of my reviews I will not go into the plot
Natalie Portman is phenomenal as Jackie Kennedy. She sounds like Jackie and her beauty and elegance come through the screen. The film is intense and brooding. You feel the pain, as you experience the tragedy of the assassination in each second of the film.
You only get brief glimpses of Jackie's wonderful smile, but Natalie Portman makes you feel the pain she was going through. I loved the portrayal of her relationship with Bobby Kennedy as she tries to keep her safe amidst the maelstrom of the assassination.
I wish they had more clips of Jackie, and President Kennedy, and established the majesty of "Camelot" so you could feel the sorrow at the fall of Camelot.
I watched this on Amazon, and I regret not seeing this in the theaters. I highly recommend you take some time and watch this film. If you like the film, watch the ABC special Jacqueline Kennedy In Her Own Words - 2011. It will make you appreciate Natalie Portman's performance even more.
Rating - A minus (Worth the price of the ticket and a popcorn and a night on the town)
