Wow. I just finished binge watching Narcos Mexico and Michael Pena (Kiki Camarena) and Diego Luna (Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo) were amazing. There performances were some of the best of any of the Narcos series.
Some of the criticism of Narcos is that it is the same story in a different country. However, Narcos Mexico deals with three issues that were so intriguing.
Family
Family is looked at a little differently here. What is so interesting is that family expands beyond blood to become more.
The Good Guys are the Bad Guys and the Bad Guys are the Good Guys and Visa Versa
This is the most intriguing of the concepts and must be paid close attention to. This makes Narcos Mexico, because it touches some of what defines us as human beings.
When is enough enough?
When you watch the first two Narcos series you cannot help ask this question. This concept is dealt with in Narcos Mexico and defines the conflict between the Narcos characters.
I highly recommend that you watch Narcos Mexico. You will not be disappointed.
