This movie was released 7 August 2021. It's a continuation of suicide Squad hence the title Suicide Squad 2. I loved so many things about this movie but before I tell you what I love about this movie, let me give you a brief summary of it.
The Suicide Squad 2 comprises of about seven(7) person in the main team. They were chosen to go fight for their country. At first, they were reluctant but when they got into the mission, they became more ready to win and also to save their country.
Working together as a team wasn't as easy at first either but they had to no matter what since they want to survive.
The leader of the team, Bloodsport(Idris Elba) was a great leader indeed, although he had a rivalry peacemaker (John Cena). They never liked each other from the start to finish of the movie, he had a daughter which Amanda Waller used to blackmail him to join the squad. There was a thing about him, he has phobia for rats.
Peacemaker (John Cena) was part of the Suicide Squad wow, o wasn't expecting him to film with them but he did. He was bloodspot's rival. He never liked him. He was someone that wanted peace hence his name.
He killed one of his team member because he wanted to expose the Government for being the master mind of the star fish project and also tried to kill another who was lucky enough to get the drive, but he failed because Bloodsport came right in time.
Harley Quinn is one of the main character, she followed I'm the first Suicide Squad and also in the second. She was undefeated, she survived the first attack and also managed to free her self from captivity. She was really having fun doing all she did, it was awesome.
Amanda Waller(Viola Davis), she's the director of the Suicide Squad, she was heartless simple put, all she wanted was for the squad to obey her others and if any disobeyed, she will murder them through some device she placed in their body before they went on the mission.
She also had a great team that worked with her hand in hand to help her achieve her goals. But at some point, they disobeyed her because from their own point of view she was really wrong at that time.
King shark(his speaker Sylvester stallone), was also part of the squad. At first he wanted to eat one of his team member, but thanks to her rat who signified bloodshot, she was not eaten. King shark suffered a lot but he was really king shark indeed, he was amazingly strong.
Rick Flag(Joel Kinnaman) he was a special force agent that lead the first team, he was injured but was saved by some people when he got hurt. He was killed by Peacemaker (John Cena) because he wanted to expose the Government.
Polkadot(David Dastmalchian) was a guy who was experimented on by him mother and some things went wrong. He had some allergies but with is suit, he was able to control his power. He died while trying to be a hero, sadly.
Ratcatcher(Daniela Melchior), she was good with the rat. She was able to make friends with king shark after her tried to eat her. She saved the world by her super powers of being able to control rats.
Why I choose this as my Favorite 2021 Movie
I chose suicide Squad 2 as my favorite 2021 movie because of the spirit of togetherness they portrayed at the end. They knew very well that disobeying Amanda Waller would endanger their lives, still they made the choice of saving the lives of others.
Amanda's team seeing how serious she was about ending their lives, hit her head with a golf stick that made her unconscious to save the Suicide Squad. It was an amazing scenario, it gave me goosebumps.
I love the way Harley Quinn always handle herself at any given time. I was really impressed by the way she acted unconscious to save her life, it was awesome. And I was also impressed by the way the team where able to defeat Starro the Conquerer(a very big star fish which was the project the Americans were working on) in the end.
