One movie that marked my childhood was 1996's Space Jam. I believe I watched it two or three years after it was released. Since at that time I didn't have access to cinemas that easy (something that only happened in 2010), so I had to wait for some open TV to buy the rights and pass.
We can say it was my childhood peak. In my 8 to 9 year olds. When school still didn't demand much and playing left a lot of time. At that time, close to home in an empty lot, a friend and I cleaned and set up goalposts to form our soccer field. The name I gave to the field that I even wrote on a board was Space Jam.
I remember it until today, having just seen the movie and experiencing that vibe of the story. Here I see the trailer of Space Jam 2 yesterday, now with LeBron James. Although I knew there was going to be a second movie, I still hadn't seen anything about it. I just loved it.
I don't know if the movie will be good, or the animation itself, which this time is more evolved and plays inside a video game. Or whether the story will be good. But whatever it turns out to be, I want to watch it. It will be like going back to those old days and feeling that feeling I experienced in my childhood.

Um filme que marcou minha infância foi Space Jam de 1996. Acredito que eu tenha assistido dois ou três anos depois do lançamento. Uma vez que nessa época eu não tinha acesso a cinemas tão fácil (algo que só foi acontecer em 2010), então eu tinha de esperar alguma TV aberta comprar os direitos e passar.
Podemos dizer que era meu auge da infância. Nos meus 8 para 9 anos. Quando a escola ainda não exigia muito e brincar sobrava muito tempo. Nessa época, perto de casa em um terreno vazio eu e um amigo limpamos e montamos traves para formar nosso campinho de futebol. O nome que eu dei para o campo que até escrevi em uma placa foi Space Jam.
Lembro até hoje, recém visto o filme e vivendo aquela vibe da história. Eis que eu vejo o trailer ontem do Space Jam 2, agora com LeBron James. Embora eu soubesse que viria um segundo filme, eu ainda não tinha visto nada a respeito. Simplesmente adorei.
Não sei se o filme será bom, ou a animação em si que dessa vez é mais evoluída e passa dentro de um vídeo game. Ou se a história será boa. Mas, independente do que venha ser, eu quero assistir. Vai ser como voltar naqueles velhos tempos e sentir aquele sentimento vivido na minha infância.
O filme tem estreia para o mês de julho agora, para cinemas e streaming da HBO MAX.
Não vejo a hora de assistir!
