Rarely does a comedic movie catch my attention or laugh at a comedy movie or series because once you know that this movie is a comedy, you simply see every scene or shot that it's meant to make you laugh, so you lose the passion.
I've watched a lot of clips from the series Friends and I didn't find it funny at all likewise for Mr Bean and Charlie Chaplin, but maybe this is because of the sound of the audience laughing in the background that makes you see that these scenes are normal and do not call all that laughter.
But in this movie or in Jim Kerry movies, he makes you laugh even if you watch the movie twice because he simply uses the style of irony and surprise, and his acting as an idiot is very cool.
the story of the movie
The second part of this movie is not exactly a continuation of the events of the first part but for these two fun people they start the movie with Lloyd in the hospital where he appears to be suffering from Alzheimer's and paralysis and Harry's girlfriend changes his diapers and visits him every week.
After 20 years of acting, Lloyd decides to tell his friend that he cheated on him all this time and that there is nothing wrong with him. Of course, we thought this would piss Harry off, but like his idiot friend, he tells him that this is wonderful.
The two friends leave the hospital and go to annoy their blind friend, and Harry begins a story that he needs a kidney transplant, but Lloyd continues to talk and does not care about him, then decides to help his friend by looking for a donor from the family.
Events develop and the two friends see that after learning that Harry's parents had adopted him, but he discovers that he has a daughter, he goes to search for her on a journey that is no less interesting than the funny situations between these two friends.
Laughing in the movie
The movie is very entertaining and wonderful and the reason that will make you laugh while watching the movie is the idiocy that these two friends will be on and the many wrong conclusions they will make.
Likewise, Jim Carrey has a charisma, especially in his expressions and in showing his indifference to some things that may seem very serious.
I've never seen a comedian like this guy and Jeff Daniels helped him direct the movie with such a delightful picture.
