Shingeki no Kyojin: This is the final part of the final part (No spoilers) [ENG/ESP]

Review by @ibet · 979d · of Attack on Titan

Hello again, nice community. I confess that this was not what I was going to talk about today but, the final chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin came out just a few days ago, I stopped watching the anime when the last chapter of the manga came out and I admit that I had no intentions of watching it, first because of how it ended and second because it was becoming "the part of the part of the part" and it really took me away from the series in general, first because of how it ended and second because it was becoming "the part of the part of the part of the part" and the truth is that it distanced me a little bit from the series in general, but yesterday I decided to just watch the final chapter, which was the longest of all...

Source Falco and his convenient titan... ah, and Mikasa/Falco y su titan conveniente... ah, y Mikasa

I will mention first the work of MAPPA, I remember a few years ago when I was still in the SNK fandom, that WIT Studio (former animation house in charge of SNK) had decided to abandon the project after the third season if I'm not mistaken, and we were all worried about which animation studio was going to take over the project, since WIT had done an excellent job in terms of animation and at that time the most complex arcs were coming, obviously the fandom didn't want Shingeki to be ruined due to a bad adaptation (yes Tokyo Ghoul, I'm looking at you), it had to be a good and very brave studio to take the reins of Shingeki, MAPPA announced that they were going to take that job and everyone was waiting for how it was going to be, when the fourth season came out many people criticized MAPPA's work and almost put it as a Nanatsu no Taizai 2. 0 (I never saw that anime, by the way), but really seeing this last chapter, I can say that they did a good job, the flow, the atmosphere and even the sountrack were excellent (Linked Horizon came back) I feel that in those times MAPPA was very badly judged, being that SNK is a very complex work.

Regarding that final fight, I really liked the designs of the past titans, and since I saw them in the manga I liked them, but, I do not change my opinion about the ending, I tell you as a reader of the manga that MAPPA made a fairly faithful adaptation and everything you saw (or will see for those who have not seen it) happens in the manga, I really felt sorry for Eren's reactions when he talked to Armin, I feel it was not him, a part of me kept the hope that they made another ending, but it is what it is.

The truth is that for me it was a very disappointing ending, but it doesn't take away that in general it was a very good work, it is still one of my favorites, although I am no longer involved in the fandom, tell me what you think about the final chapter if you saw it, I'll say goodbye for now, thank you very much as always for reading me and see you later in another post ❤️

I haven't watched the final chapter of the finale yet and in fact, as you mention, I was also impatient with so many final parts haha until finally the end of the finale came 😂

MAPPA did a brilliant job, they had it super hard and Isayama himself recognizes it.

I liked the ending because I expected it wasn't going to be rosy but some things upset me, like the scene of Armin and Eren, really Eren? and you're just saying that now? haha but well, the ending doesn't take away that it was a work, I admit I'll miss it hehe

I thought Levi was going to die, he was so wounded that it seemed an imminent death for him, but fortunately my favorite character was able to stay alive with dignity and with a scene that made my hair stand on end, I mean the farewell of the legion of recognition.

I didn't want to read the manga and I preferred to wait patiently for them to animate the most final ending of all endings 😅. By the way, I was surprised by Eren pigeon 🤣.

    Thanks for sharing. Greetings!

Saludos!

for me this episode was quite good. The first movie had issues with the CGI, most of the fights were covered in dust for that reason as well, but this time studio MAPPA, did a good job. Regarding the plot i think most of us expected the ending but what seemed awesome in my eyes was that Eren was not the the cold blooded murder who seemed to be, instead he still always thinking about his friend and as was more human than we though.

Especially, when he said to Armin that he wants Mikasa to never forget him and that he does not want to die. Also it was quite amazing that basically the creator showed that even though most of the humanity eradicated, and a lot of people made so many sacrifices after many years everything was forgotten and again new wars occurred, showing the never-ending war nature of humanity!

The only thing in general that i did not like in the whole anime, was the long waiting periods before the next season or movie. Most of the time due to that i had forgotten what exactly happen and could not feel that much for the characters even though the dialogs were quite emotional.
