¡Feliz viernes para tod@s!

A principios de este año (literalmente, el 1° de Enero), me pareció interesante el título de esta película animada y aprovechando que estábamos en familia porque acabábamos de recibir el año nuevo, le dimos a reproducir sin ver el trailer ni leer nada sobre la película y menos mal que no lo hicimos porque nos gustó muchísimo y tal vez el trailer nos hubiese delatado parte de la trama.

At the beginning of this year (literally, January 1st), the title of this animated film seemed interesting to me and taking advantage of the fact that we were with the family because we had just received the new year, we gave it a play without seeing the trailer or reading anything about the movie and luckily we didn't do it because we liked it a lot and maybe the trailer would have given us away part of the plot.

"Ron Da Error" (2021), es una película animada de 20th Century Studios Locksmith Animation, 20th Century Animation, Double Negative que narra la vida Barney, un niño solitario de 11 años que desea tener el nuevo amigo robot de moda pero por falta de dinero, su padre no lo puede comprar directamente en la fábrica por su precio pero que luego por accidente, logra obtener uno para obsequiarlo a su hijo de cumpleaños, sin saber que ese amigo que tanto anhela su hijo, viene un poco defectuoso.

"Ron's Gone Wrong" (2021), is an animated film by 20th Century Studios Locksmith Animation, 20th Century Animation, Double Negative that tells the life of Barney, a lonely 11-year-old boy who wishes to have the new fashionable robot friend but due to lack of money, his father cannot buy it directly from the factory because of its price but then by accident, he manages to obtain one to give it to his son for his birthday, without knowing that the friend he's son longs for so long, comes a little error.

A partir del descubrimiento de el error en Ron (Nombre del robot), Barney intenta devolverlo y deshacerse de él pero ya existe una interesante conexión entre ambos, aunque al principio no se vea tan claramente como más adelante, es una dinámica torpe, atropellada pero muy divertida cuando comienzan a aparecer los problemas gracias al error con el que viene el robot.

After the discovery of the error in Ron (Robot's name), Barney tries to return it and get rid of it but there is already an interesting connection between the two, although at first it is not seen as clearly as later, it is a clumsy dynamic, run over but very funny when the problems begin to appear thanks to the error that the robot comes with.

Llega un punto en el que incluso Barney se siente avergonzado de como se comporta Ron frente a los otros robots que no tienen ningún problema con su sistema operativo y funcionan de la manera en la que fueron concebidos, caso contrario con Ron, que es todo un desastre y causa más problemas que soluciones, lo cual no va de la mano con la premisa del producto original.

There comes a point where even Barney feels ashamed of how Ron behaves in front of the other robots that don't have any problems with their operating system and work the way they were conceived, otherwise with Ron, who is quite a disaster and causes more problems than solutions, which does not go hand in hand with the premise of the original product.

Estos robots son básicamente teléfonos celulares para niños y niñas, en una forma más atractiva para ellos. Tienen cualquier cantidad de funciones para entretener y ser útiles para quienes los tienen. Hasta se puede ver que dentro de la escuela, tienen un lugar especial para "estacionarlos" mientras los niños van a clases, así de populares son.

These robots are basically cell phones for boys and girls, in a more attractive way for them. They have any number of features to entertain and be useful to those who have them. You can even see that inside the school, they have a special place to "park" them while the children go to class, that's how popular they are.

Una historia interesante aunque para muchos ya tratada anteriormente (más o menos), hay quienes creen que es muy parecida a Wall-E (2008), pero no se equivocan del todo. Aunque hay diferencias entre si para algunos, para otros son dos historias distintas en las que comparten un común denominador importante, un robot como protagonista.

An interesting story, although for many it has already been dealt with previously (more or less), there are those who believe that it is very similar to Wall-E (2008), but they are not entirely wrong. Although there are differences between them for some, for others they are two different stories in which they share an important common denominator, a robot as the protagonist.

Desde el punto de vista del guión está muy bien hecho, aunque hubiese deseado que comenzara un poco más rápida al inicio (sentí que iba muy lento para desarrollar mi interés pero al final lo logró) pero fuera de ese pequeño detalle (a mi parecer), todo estuvo muy bien hecho. Siempre los trabajos de animación captan mi atención y este no fue la excepción, es muy característica de Disney.

From the point of view of the script, it is very well done, although I would have liked it to start a little faster at the beginning (I felt that it was going very slowly to develop my interest but in the end it did) but apart from that small detail (to me seems), everything was very well done. Animation work always captures my attention and this was no exception, it is very characteristic of Disney.

Los mensajes que dejan las películas animadas a veces suelen ser más claros que en ningún otro género del cine. Aquí en "Ron Da Error" el mensaje más claro es la amistad más allá de las diferencias entre nosotros, no importa de donde vengas o lo que crees que te hace menos que los demás, la amistad ve más allá de lo que se ve a simple vista.

The messages that animated films leave are sometimes clearer than in any other genre of cinema. Here in "Ron's Gone Wrong" the clearest message is friendship beyond the differences between us, no matter where you come from or what you think makes you less than others, friendship goes beyond than what is seen with the naked eye.

Nos recuerda que con amigos a nuestro alrededor, todo puede ser mejor y que siempre vamos a necesitar de un amigo para cuando todo se vuelva más difícil o cuando todo parezca perdido. La lealtad y el cariño que se crea a través de esa amistad permanecen intactos incluso si se encuentran separados por algún motivo. Es un recordatorio para todos.

It reminds us that with friends around us, everything can be better and that we will always need a friend for when everything becomes more difficult or when everything seems lost. The loyalty and affection that is created through that friendship remain intact even if they are separated for some reason. It is a reminder to all.

Aparte de los clichés que podamos encontrar, es una buena película y espero le den una oportunidad.

Apart from the cliches that we can find, it is a good movie and I hope you give it a chance.

No entré mucho en detalle sobre la película porque quiero que vayan y le vean por ustedes mismo. Es buena para verla en familia y pasar un tiempo agradable y divertido con los nuestros. No se arrepentirán de verla, se los aseguro.

I didn't go into too much detail about the movie because I want you to go and see it for yourself. It is good to see it as a family and spend a pleasant and fun time with ours. You will not regret seeing it, I assure you.
