There are stories that catch you, that involve you, that make you think, how I wish I could live like that, enjoy life with such intensity, no matter what others tell you or think of you, they are those stories that make you reflect and understand that life is only one, that you should take advantage of it as best you can, without waiting for anything or anyone.

Over the weekend I took some time to enjoy this series, Firefly Lane, this series consists of two seasons, one of ten and the other of nine chapters, but that certainly catch you, captivate you and keep you there wanting to know more, about this story, about the lives of these characters, and to see how they overcame so many things together for so long.
This is a series which shows us the life of these two friends, Kate and Tully, each one with a different personality, a different way of seeing life, where, even so, this was not an impediment for them to create this beautiful friendship, this great bond that united them for years and that, despite everything, despite the distance, despite their incalculable conflicts, they maintained that loyalty and companionship for many years.
As I already mentioned, this series is about these two girls, who met at the least expected moment, when they were just little girls, they were neighbors, and from that moment when they started talking, they struck up this powerful friendship, which kept them together for more than 30 years, and despite their ups and downs, they remained united, proving that their friendship was stronger than anything else.
I remember reading about this series, and although at first it didn't catch my attention, a cousin told me about it, and told me that she was super hooked on it, that I should watch it because it was worth it, and well, I don't deny it is an interesting series, entertaining, emotional, simple, full of drama, reflection, it has a little bit of everything, it is not the kind of series I am used to watching, however, I still got hooked, and I watched all the seasons.
Another reason why I was also curious to see it, was because one of the protagonists of this story is the famous actress Katherine Heigl, she worked in one of my favorite series Grey's Anatomy, and although her exit was a little abrupt for me, she still played a great role, I really liked her style.
This time, she played the role of Tully, where she also played a great role, with so much naturalness, personifying a woman with many conflicts, and a difficult life, with a very troubled childhood, full of traumas, it was not easy for her, everything she had to go through as a child and teenager, but this instead of breaking her down, gave her strength to move forward, the desire to have a better future, a different life, was her great engine, and well having her great friend Kate, helped her a lot, to overcome all those situations.
Kate (Sarah Chalke) on the other hand, you could say that she was the polar opposite of Tully, a more centered girl, from a good family, somehow I felt identified with her, you know, because in a way she knew, but did not know what she wanted from life, what she dreamed of doing, if it had not been for her crazy and daring friend, maybe she would never have dared to do so many things.
It is here where I repeat, it is these stories that we see, with which we somehow feel identified, and dream of having, that friendship so crazy, unbridled, intense, that no matter what, supports you and pushes you to do those things that you do not have the courage to do on your own, that motivate you to keep trying, to not stop, to trust and believe more in yourself, in your potential.
For me Tully and Kate, they are an example of that great friendship, adventurous, confident, secure, that no matter what, neither time nor distance, they will always be there for each other, I remember that since I was a child I dreamed of having a friendship like this, of this magnitude, but life waited for me to grow up, to put them on me later, and although I thank God, for the friendships I have today, I would have loved to keep this kind of friendship since I was a child, and to have that bond for the rest of our lives.
Another detail that we also see, is how technology also takes over us, to present your program and attract your audience, now, everything is handled by the internet.
You have to find a way to get more subscribers who want to listen, watch, and give you a like, so you know that they like what you share, and thus make you famous, that is, you have to evolve, move forward and adapt to the new digital era.
It has many things that make you reflect, captivates and entertains, if you are one of those who like this kind of stories, dramatic, sentimental, emotional, sure you will like it.

Hay historias que te atrapan, que te envuelven, que te hace pensar, como desearía vivir así, disfrutar la vida con tanta intensidad, sin importar lo que los demás te digan o piensen de ti, son esas historias que te hacen reflexionar y entender que la vida es una sola, que debes aprovecharla lo mejor que puedas, sin esperar por nada ni por nadie.
El fin de semana me tomé un tiempo para disfrutar de esta serie, Firefly Lane (El baile de las luciérnagas), dicha serie consta de dos temporadas, una de diez y la otra de nueve capítulos, pero que sin duda te atrapan, te cautivan y te mantienen allí con ganas de querer saber más, sobre esta historia, sobre la vida de estos personajes, y el ver como superaron tantas cosas juntas por tanto tiempo.
Esta es una serie la cual nos muestra la vida de estas dos amigas, Kate y Tully, cada una con una personalidad diferente, una forma distinta de ver la vida, donde, aun así, esto no fue impedimento para que crearan esta hermosa amistad, este gran vínculo que las unió por años y que, a pesar de todo, de la distancia, de sus incalculables conflictos, mantuvieron esa lealtad y compañerismo por muchos años.
Como bien ya les mencioné, esta serie se trata de estas dos chicas, que se conocieron en el momento menos esperado, cuando apenas eran unas niñas, eran vecinas, y desde ese instante en el que comenzaron a hablar, entablaron esta poderosa amistad, la cual las mantuvo unida por más de 30 años, y que a pesar de sus alti bajos, siguieron unidas, demostrando que su amistad era más fuerte que cualquier otra cosa.
Recuerdo haber leído por ahí sobre esta serie, y aunque al principio no me llamo la atención, una prima me hablo de ella, y me dijo que estaba súper enganchada con la misma, que la viera porque valía la pena, y bueno, no les niego es una serie interesante, entretenida, emotiva, sencilla, llena de drama, de reflexión, tiene de todo un poco, no es el tipo de serie que estoy acostumbrada a ver, sin embargo, igual me enganche y me vi todas las temporadas.
Otra de las razones por la que también me dio curiosidad verla, fue porque una de las protagonistas de esta historia es la famosa actriz Katherine Heigl, ella trabajó en una de mis series favoritas Grey's Anatomy, y aunque su salida fue un poco brusca para mí, igual hizo un gran papel, me gustó mucho su estilo.
En esta oportunidad, interpreto el papel de Tully, donde también hizo un gran papel, con tanta naturalidad, personificando una mujer con muchos conflictos, y una vida difícil, con una infancia bastante problemática, llena de traumas, no fue fácil para ella, todo lo que tuvo que pasar de niña y adolescente, pero esto en vez de derrumbarla, le dio fuerzas para salir adelante, el desear tener un futuro mejor, una vida distinta, fue su gran motor, y bueno el contar con su gran amiga Kate, la ayudo mucho, a superar todas esas situaciones.
Kate (Sarah Chalke) por otra parte, se podía decir que era el polo opuesto de Tully, una chica más centrada, de buena familia, de alguna forma me sentí identificada con ella, saben, debido a que de cierta manera sabia, pero no sabía que quería de la vida, que soñaba hacer, si no hubiera sido por su alocada y atrevida amiga, quizás nunca se hubiera atrevido hacer tantas cosas.
Es aquí donde les repito, son estas historias que vemos, con las que de alguna manera nos sentimos identificados, y soñamos tener, esa amistad tan loca, desenfrenada, intensa, que sin importar que, te apoya y te empuja a cometer esas cosas que tú no tienes el valor de hacer por tu cuenta, que te motivan a seguir intentándolo, a no detenerte, a confiar y creer más en ti, en tu potencial.
Para mi Tully y Kate, son muestra de esa gran amistad, aventureras, confiadas, seguras, que sin importar que, ni el tiempo ni la distancia, siempre estarán allí la una para la otra, recuerdo que desde niña soñaba con tener una amistad así, de esta magnitud, pero la vida espero que creciera, para ponérmelas luego, y aunque le doy gracias a Dios, por las amistades que tengo hoy en día, me habría encantado conservar este tipo de amistad desde niña, y tener ese vínculo por el resto de nuestras vidas.
Me gusta la secuencia de cada episodio, donde nos muestran un antes y un después, podemos visualizar tres épocas distintas, de lo que fue la vida de estas dos amigas, y como fueron conviviendo, en el transcurrir del tiempo.
Otro detalle que también vemos, es como la tecnología también se apodera de nosotros, presentar tu programa y atraer a tu audiencia, ahora, todo se maneja por internet.
Tienes que buscar la forma de conseguir más suscriptores que te quieran escuchar, ver, y regalarte un like, para que sepas que les gusta lo que compartes, y así hacerte famoso, es decir, te toca evolucionar, avanzar y adaptarte a la nueva era digital.
