Geralds game or Gerald's game is an American film of 103 minutes, its genres are suspense and horror (magnificent), it was directed by Mike Flanagan and Jeff Howard wrote it, although this is a story by Stephen King. it was released in 2017 by Netflix.

Estamos en una habitación junto a una pareja que empaca sus cosas para un viaje (por cierto, no me gusta esa alfombra del cuarto, no se, no pega.), la cosa es que ellos se encuentran metiendo todo lo “necesario” en unos bolsos y al final de esto el esposo pone dos esposas dentro de su mochila (es una Mouskerramienta misteriosa que nos ayudará más tarde).

Por la pista asfaltada, atravesando un bosque están nuestros protagonistas llamados gerald y jessie, un par de esposo que van de camino a una aventura bien traviesa, mientras hablan al respecto de cómo se sienten y de lo que harán toman un camino no asfaltado en el que gerald no se percata pero jessi si, que hay un perro en medio comiendose a una Zarigüeya atropellada, Gerald se detiene de repente antes de atropellarlo y el perro bien perezoso o distraído no se aparta hasta que le pita, y pueden seguir su camino pero gerald refunfuña un poco de que hay que hacer algo con esos animales callejeros en todo el condado, en forma de molestia (más o menos que le pasa, es solo un perro).
On the paved road, crossing a forest are our protagonists named Gerald and Jessie, a couple of husband and wife who are on their way to a very naughty adventure, while talking about how they feel and what they will do, they take an unpaved road in which Gerald does not notice but Jessie does, that there is a dog in the middle eating a possum that has been run over, Gerald stops suddenly before running over it and the dog either lazy or distracted doesn't move away until he whistles at it, and they can go on their way but gerald grumbles a bit that something needs to be done about those stray animals all over the county, in the form of annoyance (more or less what's wrong with it, it's just a dog).
Atraviesan toda esta zona y llegan a una casa muy bonita con una vista al mar amplia y playa detrás de esta (una casa soñada, vaya, si no estuviera en medio de la nad absoluta sería perfecta para mi), jessie se baja alegre de estar en este lugar maravilloso aunque justo al bajar llaman gerald el cual se disculpa y se pone a hablar de trabajo, lo que nos da a entender que es un hombre demasiado ocupado y este viaje no es de costumbre sino de salvación.
They go through all this area and arrive at a very nice house with a wide ocean view and beach behind it (a dream house, wow, if it wasn't in the middle of the absolute nothingness it would be perfect for me), jessie gets off happy to be in this wonderful place although just as they get off they call gerald who apologizes and starts talking about work, which gives us to understand that he is a very busy man and this trip is not of habit but of salvation.
MIentras Jessie pasea por el lugar, al entrar se encuentra con una despensa llena y con unos paquetes de lo que parece ser carne, toma uno y mientras habla con su esposo de que se esmero al traer todo eso, ella destapa este paquete, donde pica una carne Kobe para prepararla y cocinarla, ella sale a la entrada de la casa tratando de llamar al perro con esta carne en el plato, esperando que se acerque por el olor y llamándolo, poco tiempo pasa hasta que el perro hace acto de presencia acercándose tímidamente a ella con la carne.
While Jessie walks around the place, when she enters she finds a full pantry and some packages of what seems to be meat, she takes one and while she talks to her husband about how he took care to bring all that, she uncovers this package, where she minces a Kobe beef to prepare it and cook it, she goes out to the entrance of the house trying to call the dog with this meat in the plate, hoping that he comes closer by the smell and calling him, little time passes until the dog makes an appearance timidly approaching her with the meat.
El canino está a punto de tomar la carne pero justo sale Gerald de la casa que sin querer (o queriendo) lo espanta, preguntándole a su esposa que hacía y explicándole que esa era una carne Kobe importada de 200$ la porción, ella alega que solo vio que ese perro tenía hambre y la necesitaba más que ellos y despues de todo, había cuatro paquetes en la nevera. Su esposo lo entiende comprensivamente y le dice que se prepare para pasar, ella iba a tomar el plato con la carne pero gerald le dice que no importa, que sera la mejor carne que probara en su vida, se la lleva por el brazo mientras ella se disculpa por haber hecho eso (aunque literalmente solo le estaba dando de comer a un perrito, green flag para la doña).
The canine is about to take the meat but Gerald comes out of the house and unintentionally (or unwillingly) scares it away, asking his wife what she was doing and explaining that it was a $200 a portion imported Kobe beef, she claims that she just saw that the dog was hungry and needed it more than they did and after all, there were four packages in the fridge. Her husband sympathetically understands and tells her to get ready to pass, she was going to take the plate with the meat but Gerald tells her that it doesn't matter, it will be the best meat she will ever taste in her life, he takes her by the arm while she apologizes for doing that (although she was literally just feeding a puppy, green flag for the lady).
Gerald apurado se la lleva hasta dentro de la casa y no dejándola cerrar la puerta por lo apurado que iba, ella se percata de esto pero no quiere quitarle la emoción su esposo devolviendose hasta la puerta.
Gerald hurriedly takes her inside the house and does not let her close the door because he was in such a hurry, she notices this but does not want to take away her husband's excitement by going back to the door.
Gerald en el baño toma una píldora azul (otra herramienta para después) mientras ella se prepara para el encuentro que esperaban. Gerald entra mientras ella ensaya poses “sensuales” y el emocionado llega con dos esposas de policía, lo cual la ponen un poco nerviosa dando a constatar que esto no era usual entre ellos, el la ata a unos piloncillos de adorno que tiene la cama, dejando las llaves en el baño y tratando de ponerse romántico con ella diciéndole que se meta en el papel, ella toda incomoda lo aleja porque no es capaz de seguirle el juego, el se molesta aún más porque esa estadía era para probar algo nuevo y ella reclama que no la tocaba durante meses y justo ahora si le dieron ganas cuando aceptó hacer eso pero no imaginó que su esposo quería era una escena de violacion. esto pone de pelos a Gerald diciéndole que ella tampoco había tenido ganas y ni preocupada estaba hace poco, así que Jessie se calma y pide que la desate para poder hablar. Pero Gerald reflexiona un poco y le dice que si no lo hace ¿qué va a hacer?, viendo su oportunidad perfecta para cumplir su fantasía al pie de la letra, a Jessie esto no le gusta nada y se preocupa y mientras Gerald se pone en posición; al hacerlo le ocurre algo durante unos minutos.
Gerald in the bathroom takes a blue pill (another tool for later) while she prepares for the encounter they were waiting for. Gerald enters while she rehearses "sensual" poses and he arrives excitedly with two police handcuffs, which makes her a little nervous, realizing that this was not usual between them, he ties her to some decorative pylons on the bed, leaving the keys in the bathroom and trying to get romantic with her by telling her to get into the paper, He gets even more upset because this stay was to try something new and she claims that he hasn't touched her for months and just now she felt like it when she agreed to do that but she didn't imagine that her husband wanted a rape scene. This gets on Gerald's nerves telling him that she hadn't felt like it either and wasn't even worried about it recently, so Jessie calms down and asks him to untie her so she can talk. But Gerald reflects a bit and tells her that if she doesn't do it what is she going to do, seeing her perfect opportunity to fulfill her fantasy to the letter, Jessie doesn't like this at all and worries and as Gerald gets into position; as he does something happens to her for a few minutes.
Gerald es atacado justo en esa situación por un infarto, trata de llevarlo lo mejor posible pero de un momento a otro, cae desplomado encima de jessie que se encuentra atada aún a la cama por una esposas totalmente reales.
Gerald is attacked just in that situation by a heart attack, he tries to take it as well as possible but from one moment to the next, he falls collapsed on top of Jessie who is still tied to the bed by a totally real handcuff.
Gerald's game has many edges, because really the game does not become a game of wit or strength but a psychological one, which will give you many more messages about how problems are faced and besides it has an ending that the first time I saw it seemed strange but the second time I could see it in a different way, and now I say, woh, it's very good, I highly recommend it.
