Marvel's "Eternals", directed by Chloé Zhao, was one of the most ambitious and freshest instalments in the popular cinematic universe.
With a diverse cast of stars including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Kumail Nanjiani, it tells the story of a race of cosmic beings who have resided hidden on Earth since time immemorial.
Their role was to observe and not interfere, until events after the last film lead them to take sides and make use of their awesome powers.

Visually spectacular thanks to Zhao, it transcends the traditional parameters of the genre with its more artistic and emotive look, and Ramin Djawadi's soundtrack adds majesty.
Although it could at times be rushed, it manages to build fascinating characters and a unique story, opening a horizon for future instalments.
There were those who criticised its excessive length, but I didn't find it too long, it's a great way to expand the Marvel universe with more nuances.

An entertaining and ambitious bet that marks a before and after.
I'll keep an eye out for the sequels.
