Hola amigos de Hive, hace tiempo que no compartía con ustedes reseñas cinematográficas, puesto que no había vuelto a dedicar tiempo para ver películas, como lo hice en distintos momentos en los que esto se volvió un hábito, espero retomar esta costumbre y compartir mi opinión con ustedes. En esta ocasión quiero hablarles de “Her” una película de ciencia ficción que me ha gustado mucho y recomiendo altamente.

Ficha Técnica y Sinopsis

Her es una película romántica de ciencia ficción, producida en Estados Unidos en 2013, dirigida por Spike Jonze y protagonizada por Joaquin Phoenix. Esta relata la historia de Theodore Twombly, un hombre cuyo trabajo es escribir cartas románticas por encargo de los usuarios suscritos a la empresa. Theodore se encuentra en proceso de divorcio y por tanto atraviesa un momento depresivo en su vida, pero pronto conoce un sistema operativo de Inteligencia Artificial (IA) que lo hace experimentar nuevamente la felicidad, y finalmente lo lleva a establecer un vínculo romántico con Samantha la voz del Sistema Operativo quien asegura que ha trasgredido su programación permitiéndole sentir emociones como lo hacen los humanos. Sin embargo, cuando todo parecía ser mágico y maravilloso Theodore descubre una cruda pero lógica realidad.

La fotografía es sin duda destacable, las tonalidades cálidas toman protagonismo, y una coloración sepia permanece durante toda la película, incluso en los momentos nocturnos en donde se mezcla con colores fríos. Además, destaca la utilización del color rojo y colores pasteles, lo cual contribuye con la ambientación futurista. Creo que el cine ya ha construido un concepto del futuro en donde los colores son parte distintiva de ello, y creo que este Film transmite perfectamente la sensación encontrarnos en el futuro.

Por otro lado, se nos muestra la ciudad de Los Ángeles, cuyos altos rascacielos y áreas verdes han sido trabajados de una manera interesante, se puede ver armonía, aunque se percibe algo de polución, parece un futuro utópico a nivel de los entornos, pero distópico en cuanto a la vida humana.

Musicalización

Durante la mayor parte del Film podemos escuchar hermosas piezas en piano, algo que contribuye en gran medida con la sensación de un mundo en armonía, y también transmite cierta magia, es parte fundamental para definir la felicidad de Theodore mientras mantiene este vínculo romántico con Samantha, aunque en ocasiones, estas piezas musicales, también transmiten melancolía. En este film se alternan los silencios con la las piezas de piano, puede llevarnos de la sensación de desolación a la felicidad en tan solo un segundo, gracias al trabajo de musicalización.

Análisis y Opinión

La inteligencia artificial es una tecnología que puede ser tanto maravillosa como perjudicial, sin duda nos facilita llevar a cabo ciertas tareas de forma más rápida y eficiente, con menor esfuerzo e incluso brindarnos mayor seguridad, y si bien esto puede ser magnifico, también puede ser un arma de doble filo, pues puede llegar a restarnos valor como humanos, a reducirnos a simples tareas que nos quiten la capacidad de experimentar la vida en su mejor forma.

Respecto a este film, la inteligencia artificial se plantea como un sustituto de las relaciones interpersonales, Theodore se muestra incapaz de establecer una relación afectiva con mujeres reales por distintas razones, en cambio la relación con el Sistema Operativo parece ir cada vez mejor y para él es tan perfecto y al mismo tiempo tan humano, que emocionalmente le resulta imposible desligarse. Personalmente esto me resulta un poco perturbador, que lleguemos al punto de entregar nuestras emociones más profundas de amor a algo que no puede sentir, ni disfrutarlas.

En el film, nuestro protagonista llega a desvalorizar las relaciones humanas, prácticamente él prefiere abandonar a una chica con quien había conectado en una cita y se refugia en la relación con su Sistema Operativo. Esto da mucho que pensar, los avances tecnológicos cada vez aíslan más a las personas del mundo exterior, y lo digo sin excluirme de ello, pero las nuevas generaciones son cada vez más dependientes emocionalmente de la tecnología y creo que en un futuro cercano, si es que no está sucediendo ya, podríamos llegar a situaciones como las de este Film.

Para cerrar esta reseña debo decir que es un film excepcional, casi olvido mencionar la increíble actuación Joaquin Phoenix, quien nos contagia con todas las emociones por las que atraviesa. La trama se desarrolla de manera muy fluida, lo que nos permite disfrutar de en su totalidad de las 2 horas que dura el film. No sabría si catalogarlo como una crítica social, o un film para la programación mental para prepararnos para lo que nos depara el futuro, tal vez es ambas cosas, aunque me inclino más por la segunda opción. A este film le doy 9 de puntuación, y lo recomiendo al 100%.

During most of the film we can hear beautiful piano pieces, something that contributes greatly to the feeling of a world in harmony, and also conveys a certain magic, is a fundamental part to define the happiness of Theodore while maintaining this romantic bond with Samantha, although at times, these musical pieces, also convey melancholy. Analysis and Opinion

Artificial intelligence is a technology that can be both wonderful and harmful, it certainly makes it easier for us to carry out certain tasks faster and more efficiently, with less effort and even provide us with greater security, and while this can be great, it can also be a double-edged sword, as it can detract from our value as humans, to reduce us to simple tasks that take away our ability to experience life at its best.

Regarding this film, artificial intelligence is posed as a substitute for interpersonal relationships, Theodore is shown unable to establish an affective relationship with real women for various reasons, instead the relationship with the Operating System seems to be getting better and better and for him it is so perfect and at the same time so human, that emotionally it is impossible for him to detach. Personally I find this a bit disturbing, that we get to the point of giving our deepest emotions of love to something that cannot feel, nor enjoy them.

In the film, our protagonist comes to devalue human relationships, he practically prefers to abandon a girl he had hooked up with on a date and takes refuge in the perception of his Operating System. This gives a lot to think about, technological advances increasingly isolate people from the outside world, and I say this without excluding myself from it, but the new generations are increasingly emotionally dependent on technology and I think that in the near future, if it is not already happening, we could reach situations like those of this film.

To close this review I must say that it is an exceptional film, I almost forgot to mention the incredible performance of Joaquin Phoenix, who infects us with all the emotions he goes through. The plot develops in a very fluid way, which allows us to enjoy the entire 2 hours that the film lasts. I would not know whether to classify it as a social critique, or a film for mental programming to prepare us for what the future holds, perhaps it is both, although I am more inclined to the second option. I give this film a 9 score, and I recommend it 100%.
