Welcome Hivers to my new post, today I bring you a review of a film I saw recently, called Rip Tide, released in 2017 and which features Debby Ryan, in the leading role. If you haven't seen it, you can find it on Netflix
Bienvenidos Hivers a mi nuevo post, el día de hoy les traigo una reseña de una película que vi hace poco tiempo, llamada Rip Tide, estrenada en 2017 y que cuenta con la participación de Debby Ryan, en el papel protagónico. Si no la han visto, pueden encontrarla por Netflix.
What is it about?
¿De qué trata?
Es la primera pregunta que hay que responder. La película trata de una famosa modelo, cuya carrera se ve en peligro luego de un vídeo que se hizo viral. Para huir de las cámaras y de un mundo que no quería, viaja a Australia, para encontrarse con su tía surfista y a quien no había visto desde años atrás.
That's the first question that needs to be answered. The film is about a famous model, whose career is in danger after a video that went viral. To escape from the cameras and a world she didn't want, she travels to Australia to meet her surfer aunt, whom she hadn't seen for years.
A lo largo de la película, la protagonista se encuentra a sí misma y descubre qué es lo que desea en su vida. Al mismo tiempo, a su alrededor todo va cambiando y ayuda a su tía a superar la pérdida de su esposo, que falleció unos años antes durante una tormenta en el mar en el que surfeaba.
Throughout the film, the protagonist finds herself and discovers what she wants in her life. At the same time, everything around her changes and she helps her aunt to overcome the loss of her husband, who died a few years earlier during a storm at sea while surfing.

Why do I recommended seeing her?
¿Por qué les recomiendo verla?
The first thing that caught my attention is that it is a romantic movie, but it is not the typical cliché of all the others, because it is not the main thing. In this film, the growth of the protagonist, and the family encounter is what takes on greater value.
Lo primero que me llamó la atención es que es una película romántica, pero no es el típico cliché de todas las demás, debido a que no es lo principal. En esta película, el crecimiento de la protagonista, y el encuentro familiar es lo que toma mayor valor.
If you are a fashion fanatic, it is one of the best films to find inspiration. Not only because of the world in which she lives, but also because of all the ideas that are discussed, both dresses and swimsuits that are finally modeled. Something that allows the model to exploit her skills.
Si son fanáticas de la moda, es una de las mejores películas para encontrar inspiración. No solo por el mundo en el que se desenvuelve, si no por todas las ideas que se van tratando, tanto de vestidos como de los trajes de baño que al final son modelados. Algo que le permite a la modelo explotar sus habilidades.
Finally, understanding that we must let go of the past, we must not cling to what is wrong with us and what prevents us from growing. This is what draws attention especially to the growth of family members, even those who appear on screen very little.
Finalmente, el entender que hay que dejar ir el pasado, no hay que aferrarse a aquello que nos hace mal y que nos impide crecer. Es lo que llama la atención sobre todo del crecimiento de los miembros de la familia, incluso de aquellos que aparecen muy poco tiempo en pantalla.
