Hello, living beings! A few months ago I saw the series Altered Carbon and I did its respective review, I loved the first season, the second season not so much, but I loved Poe, he was my favorite character and the reason why I finished the whole second season, and as a rare thing in me, I found out late about the existence of this movie, which would be a kind of prequel or something that happens in the middle of the story of the first season, it is rare to place it in a timeline, and if I tell you where it is, it would be a spoiler of the first season.
Resleeved is going to tell us one of the many missions of Takeshi Kovacs before his appearance in the first season, here he is going to have to protect Holly, a teenage tattoo artist while investigating the death of a Yakuza along with Gina, a CTAC agent who has her own reasons for taking care of Holly and being inside the mafia under a secret identity.

Hace unos meses vi la serie de Altered Carbon y le hice su respectiva reseña, amé la primera temporada, la segunda no tanto, pero sí amé a Poe, fue mi personaje favorito y la razón por la que terminé toda la seguunda temporada, y como cosa rara en mí, me enteré tarde de la existencia de esta película, que vendría siendo una especie de precuela, o algo que sucede en el medio de la historia de la primera temporada, es raro ubicarla en una linae de tiempo, y si les digo donde está, sería spoiler de la primera temporada.
Resleeved nos va a contar una de las tantas misiones de Takeshi Kovacs antes de su aparición en la primera temporada, aquí va a tener que proteger a Holly, una adolescente tatuadora, mientras investiga la muerte de un Yakuza junto a Gina, una agente del CTAC que tiene sus propias razones para cuidar a Holly y estar dentro de la mafia bajo una identidad secreta.
    
Takeshi is the same badass that we will see in the series, I love him, serious, circumspect, observing more than he should and risking his life even if he doesn't have to, just because he wants to, I guess it's the instinct of self-preservation still damaged in him, which doesn't matter, because he always comes out unscathed from all the extremely dangerous situations he gets into, and in this movie, it won't be the exception.
The animation is what I dislike the most about the movie, I'm not saying it's bad, but it's very weird, the same thing happened to me as with Ajin: Demihuman, everything is fine, except the animation of the characters, too fake and plastic for one to take them seriously, but yes, the villains are better created than the main characters, this movie is weird, the effects are perfect, but the characters are not.
Takeshi es el mismo badass que veremos en las series, me encanta, serio, circunspecto, observando más de lo que debería y arriesgando la vida aunque no tenga que hacerlo, solamente porque así lo quiere, imagino que es el instinto de autopreservación sigue dañado en él, cosa que no importa, la verdad, porque siempre sale ileso de todas las situaciones extramadamente peligrosas en las que se pone, y en esta película no va a ser la excepción.
La animación es lo que más puede llegar a disgustar de la pelícuña, no digo que está mal, pero es muy rara, me pasó lo mismo que con Ajin: Demihuman, todo está bien, excepto la animación de los personajes, demasiado falsa y plástica para que uno llegue a tomárselos en serio, pero eso sí, los villanos estan mejor creados que los personajes principales, esta pelícuña es rara, los efectos son perfectos, pero los personajes no.
     
Holly is going to be a genius at tattooing, but she hides a lot of secrets, obviously, she is in a teenager's sleeve, but she is older than anyone, that's why she is the only one to make a tattoo that has a secret code that when activated kills the person who has it, and that's just one of the many reasons why they want to kill her and believe me, they try till they drop, it's horrible.
The secret that Gina hides is my favorite and I screamed when I discovered it, but I screamed even more when she somehow reveals it and lets us know that which I won't tell you, go see it yourself, and that secret is much more revealing if we see the movie before the first season of the series, or at some point between its chapters, because although it explains almost nothing, it gives us hope that something will happen, and it does.
Holly va a ser una triarrecha tatuando, pero es que esconde muchos secretos, obviamente ella está en una funda de una adolescente, pero es más vieja que cualquiera, por eso es la única en hacer un tatuaje que tiene un código secreto que al activarse mata a la persona que lo tiene, y esa es tan solo una de las muchas razones por la que quieren matarla, y créanme, lo intentan hasta el cansancio, es horrible.
El secreto que esconde Gina es mi favorito y grité cuando lo descubrí, pero grité más aún cuando ella de cierta forma lo revela y nos hace saber eso que no les diré, vayan a verla ustedes, y ese secreto es mucho más reveledaror si vemos la película antes de la primera temporada de la serie, o en algún momento entre sus capítulos, porque aunque no explica casi nada, nos da la esperanza de que algo suceda, y sucede.
     
The bad guy is not who we think, although actually I must say that there is more than one bad guy in this movie, or is it that they are all bad guys and that's why they are killing and saving each other trying to continue existing in that chaotic world where they are eternal and death is just a forgotten promise that we force life to avoid.
Here's the trailer! If you liked the series, although it would have been a thousand times better if they had developed everything in a much better way, you will like this movie, it is one more mission where we will see Takeshi being Takeshi, and we will love for being him.
El malo no es quién creemos, aunque en realidad debo decir que hay más de un malo en esta película, o es que todos son malos y por eso están matándose y salvándose unos a otros tratando de seguir existiendo en ese mundo caótico donde son eternos y la muerte es tan solo una promesa olvidada que obligamos a la vida a evitar.
¡Aquí les dejo el trailer! Si les gustó la serie, aunque hubiera sido mil veces mejor si hubieran desarrollado todo de una forma mucho mejor, esta película les va a gustar, es una misión más donde veremos a Takeshi ser Takeshi, y amaremos por serlo.
