I remember this movie and I start smiling as if I was thinking about the love of my life, I almost have hearts coming out of my eyes and everything, it's a precious beauty that I love to have found almost by mistake, the title caught my attention from the first moment I read it, but then I didn't like it at all, so I postponed more and more the moment I would see it, finally I saw it and I fell in love with it completely.
Two brothers, who for almost half of the movie I thought they were husbands, have to do unimaginable things to take care of their sick brother, who for almost half of the movie I thought was their son, you don't know the urge I have to give you spoilers, you don't know, although actually, the trailer says it all, so, they wouldn't be spoilers per se. This movie has too many things that I liked and I'm going to tell you little by little, or in the order they come out.
Recuerdo esta película y me pongo a sonreír como si estuviera pensando en el amor de vida, casi que me salen corazones desde los ojos y todo, es una hermosura preciosa que amo haber encontrado casi por error, el título me llamó la atención desde el primer momento en que lo leí, pero después no me caía del todo bien, así que pospuse cada vez más el momento en el que la vería, finalmente la vi y me enamoró por completo.
Dos hermanos, que por casi la mitad de la película pensé que eran esposos, tienen que hacer cosas inimaginables para cuidar de su hermano enfermo, que por casi la mitad de la película pensé que era su hijo, no saben las ganas que tengo de hacerles spoilers, no lo saben, aunque en realidad el trailer lo dice todo, so, no serían spoilers per se. Esta película tiene demasiadas cosas que me gustaron y se las voy a ir diciendo poco a poco, o en el orden que salgan, la verdad.
  
I love the way the movie is narrated, there is no explanation of what is happening, things just happen and that's it, later we understand why, although we only assume that we understand, because they never give clear answers, everything is as dark as the existence without the light of Thomas, the sick brother they have to take care of, and that's another thing I loved, we learn the name of each one of them during the course of the movie.
We are going to see them interacting, laughing, eating together, but without knowing their names until it is almost too late, until certain events take place, and that is when first one name comes to light, several scenes later another name, and when we are immersed in this story with no chance to save ourselves the last name is revealed to us and we find it almost unnecessary, at least I think so because the stories in which the characters have no names are my favorite.
Amo la forma en que está narrada la película, no hay explicación de lo que está pasando, las cosas solo suceden y ya, después vamos entendiendo el por qué, aunque solo suponemos que lo entendemos, pues nunca dan respuestas claras, todo es igual de oscuro que la existencia sin luz de Thomas, el hermano enfermo al que tienen que cuidar, y esa es otra cosa que amé, nos vamos enterando del nombre de cada uno de ellos con el transcurso de la película
Los vamos a ver interactuar, reír, comer juntos, pero sin saber sus nombres hasta que es casi tarde, hasta que ciertos eventos tienen lugar, y es cuando primer un nombre sale a la luz, varias escenas después otro nombre, ya cuando estamos inmersos en esta historia sin oportunidad de salvarnos el último nombre nos es revelado y lo encontramos casi innecesario, al menos así lo creo yo, porque las histori en las que los personajes no tienen nombres son mis favoritas.
  
One of the wonders of this movie, or something that I find wonderful is that many times they show us the scenes in half, cut, fragmented, in separate pieces, and I loved that completely, it was perfect for me, too wonderful and incredible that they showed Dwight, the brother, horrified by something that Jessie, the sister, did, and not seeing what it was that horrified him, we were only left to imagine it and try to fill that perfect void.
The performances have their ups and downs, but it's just that each of the characters is going to have their special moment to shine and that's when the accumulation of little things we're seeing from the beginning of the film becomes an explosion that can't be stopped. Thomas is my favorite of the three of them, a forlorn creature who just tries to survive day after day thanks to his brothers, although I still disliked him at times, ungrateful shit.
Una de las maravillas de esta película, o algo que yo encuentro maravilloso es que muchas veces nos muestran las escenas a la mitad, cortadas, fragmentadas, en pedazos separados, y amé eso por completo, fue perfecto para mí, demasiado maravilloso e increíble que mostraran a Dwight, el hermano, horrorizado por algo que hiciera Jessie, la hermana, y no ver qué era lo que lo horrorizaba, solo nos quedaba imaginarlo y tratar de llenar ese vacío perfecto.
Las actuaciones tienen sus altos y bajos, pero es que cada uno de los personajes va a tener su momento especial de brillar y ahí es cuando el cúmulo de pequeñas cosas que estamos viendo desde el principio de la película se convierten en una explosión que no se puede detener. Thomas es mi favorito de ellos tres, una criatura desolada que solo trata de sobrevivir día tras día gracias a sus hermanos, aunque igual me cayó mal a veces, malagradecido de mierda.
       
The title has a special meaning for me, from the first time it comes on the scene at the beginning of the movie, until it comes out near the end, two very different moments, with opposite energies, that marks the deterioration of the whole unhealthy family situation they were living. it was very sick everything, too sick, this is a movie where the characters once said that the end justified the means and that's why they do everything they do.
I can't believe I wrote the review without spoilers, I'm proud of myself, watch the trailer, it's a marvel, it's perfect, almost as perfect as the movie, and I know that very few people like it, and it's not a commercial movie with a predictable story or renowned actors, but anyway, everyone has their own tastes.
El título tiene un significado especial para mí, desde la primera vez que sale a escena al principio de la película, hasta que sale a la luz cerca del final, dos momentos muy diferentes, con energías opuestas, que marcan el deterioro de toda la situación familiar insana que estaban viviendo. era muy enfermo todo, demasiado enfermo, esta es una película donde los personajes alguna vez dijeron que el fin justificaba los medios y por eso hacen todo lo que hacen.
No puedo creer que escribí la reseña sin hacer spoilers, I'm proud of me, vean el trailer, es una maravilla, es perfecto, casi tan perfecto como la película, y sé que a muy poca le gusta, y es que no es una película comercial con una historia predecible ni actores de renombre, pero en fin, cada quien tiene sus gustos.
