Months ago, I think about a year, I saw the series No Game, No Life, and just today I saw the movie. The series is from 2014 and the movie from 2017, but as a weird thing I find out about these things very late. In this review I'm going to talk only about the movie, because although the movie happens after the events of the series, the main plot or narrative is the events that took place 6000 years before the series, during the Great War or Eternal War that almost destroyed the world of Disboard.
Very well, this story of a war 6000 years ago in the world of Disboard introduces us to Riku, a human, and Schwi (pronounced Shuvi), an ex Machina or andriode, both meet by mistake, or perhaps destiny, and from that moment on they are bound together by Riku's need to save humanity and Schwi's need to understand the reason why humans exist, or in her own words, the need she has to understand the heart and feelings of humans.
Hace meses, creo que cerca de un año, vi la serie No Game, No Life, y justo hoy vi la película. La serie es del 2014 y la película del 2017, pero como cosa rara yo me entero muy tarde de estas cosas. En esta reseña voy a hablar solo de la película, porque aunque la película sucede después de los eventos de la serie, el argumento o la narración principal son los sucesos que tuvieron lugar 6000 años antes de la serie, durante la Gran Guerra o Guerra eterna que casi destruye el mundo de Disboard.
Muy bien, este relato de una guerra de hace 6000 años en el mundo de Disboard nos presenta a Riku, un humano, y Schwi (pronunciada Shuvi), una ex Machina o andriode, ambos se encuentran por error, o quizás destino, y desde ese momento quedan entrelazados por la necesidad de Riku de salvar a la humanidad y la necesidad de Schwi de entender la razón del por qué los humanos existen, o en sus propias palabras, la necesidad que tiene de entender el corazón y los sentimientos de los humanos.

I loved this movie too much, it made me cry and laugh like I hadn't done it for a long time, and the feeling of peace, harmony and that everything is all right in the world that it left me still doesn't leave me, which means that it touched me very deeply.
If I tell you about the war, the different races in the world, the existing gods and the future of the world I would never finish writing, besides it would be considered a spoiler, because you have to see the movie, although you have to see the series first, to understand all the mythology and the background here.
¡Qué horrible es tratar de no hacer spoilers! Esta película me encantó demasiado, me hizo llorar y reír como tenía tiempo que no lo hacía, y la sensación de paz, armonía y que todo está bien el mundo que me dejó aún no me abandona, lo que quiere decir que caló muy profundo en mí.
Si les hablo de la guerra, las diferentes razas que hay en el mundo, de los dioses existentes y el futuro del mundo no terminaría de escribir nunca, además de que sería considerado spoiler, pues tienen que ver la película, aunque tienen que ver primero la serie, para entender toda la mitología y el trasfondo existente aquí.
 
Schwi, being an ex Machina becomes marginalized by her own species, they consider that her obsession to understand the heart of humans is a flaw and they cannot be related in any way with a flaw, they are analytically perfect beings and do not make sense of feelings or non-quantifiable things because otherwise they cannot understand.
The way Schwi starts to evolve, understand, rationalize and even feel like humans in all the time she is together with Riku is impressive, it makes you question if you are really a real human, if you are really living. The questions she asks, the combination of the very different ways she and Riku see the world, their concerns and motivations, it's all too intense to leave unaffected.
Schwi, siendo un ex Machina llega a ser marginada por su propia especie, ellos consideran que la obsesión de ella por entender el corazón de los humanos es una falla y ellos no pueden estar relacionados de ninguna forma con una falla, son seres analíticamente perfectos y no le encuentran sentido a los sentimientos o cosas no cuantificables porque de otra forma no lo pueden entender.
La forma en Schwi comienza a evolucionar, entender, racionalizar e incluso sentir como los humanos en todo el tiempo que está junto Riku es impresionante, te hace cuestionar si de verdad tú eres un verdadero humano, si estás viviendo de verdad. Las preguntas que ella hace, la combinación de las formas muy diferentes en que ella y Riku ven el mundo, sus preocupaciones y motivaciones, todo eso es demasiado intenso como para salir ileso.
 
Riku is one of the few humans left in the world, a world that does not know exactly who created humans, why they exist, nor what their purpose is. All races were created and named by the gods, but humans one day decided to stop being beasts and became thinking beings, physically weak, but with a mental strength greater than most races.
Intelligence has always been the best weapon of humans, and that will be the master key that will help Riku in this war that has no mercy for his species. This intelligence will be the main factor in this game, because that is how Riku sees the war and everything that is happening in the world, a game with rules that do not take them into account, at least until the time comes to create new rules and be the players who orchestrate the movements of others in the shadows.
Riku es uno de los pocos humanos que quedan en el mundo, un mundo que no sabe exactamente quién creó a los humanos, por qué existen, ni cuál es su propósito. Todas las razas fueron creadas y nombradas por los dioses, pero los humanos un día decidieron dejar de ser bestias y se convirtieron en seres pensantes, débiles físicamente, pero con una fortaleza mental mayor que la de la mayoría de las razas.
La inteligencia siempre fue la mejor arma de los humanos, y esa será la llave maestra que ayudará a Riku en esta guerra que no tiene misericordia con su especie. Esta inteligencia será la clave en este juego, pues así es como Riku ve la guerra y todo lo que está sucediendo en el mundo, un juego con reglas que no los toman en cuenta, al menos hasta que llega el momento de crear nuevas reglas y ser los jugadores que orquestan los movimientos de los demás en las sombras.
 
Visually this film is an orgasm, just as Violet Evergarden has a very bright animation, No Game, No Life has a perfect animation in strident colors that at the same time are soft, do not hurt your eyes, nor make you look away. That's not to say it doesn't have scenes where darkness isn't present, but despite that there's always a little color that will make a difference.
I loved the soundtrack madly! The level of epicness that has each of the musical pieces has no comparison, the tension takes over you completely and it is possible that the music catches us and never let us go, with me it did and remembering the songs the adrenaline takes over me and makes me believe that this world has salvation.
Visualmente esta película es un orgasmo, así como Violet Evergarden tiene una animación con mucha luminosidad, No Game, No Life tiene una animación perfecta en colores estridentes que a la vez son suaves, no te dañan la vista, ni te hacen apartar la mirada. Eso no quiere decir que no tenga escenas donde la oscuridad no esté presente, pero a pesar de eso siempre hay un pequeño color que marcará la diferencia.
¡Amé el soundtrack con locura! El nivel de epicidad que tiene cada una de las piezas musicales no tiene comparación, la tensión se apodera de uno por completo y es posible que la música nos atrape y no nos suelte nunca, conmigo lo hizo y al recordar las canciones la adrenalina se apodera de mí y me hace creer que este mundo tiene salvación.
 
Light and darkness are in complete harmony in No Game, No Life: Zero, there are both laughter and tears, emotions and feelings abound, as well as perfect animation accompanied by an epic soundtrack that has no equal. The story of Disboard is incredible, and this movie is the necessary prequel to understand its origins in greater depth.
