This is the best installment of all these Bridgerton seasons, although technically it's like a spin off, but you understand. Since I saw the trailer many months ago I knew I would love the story of Queen Charlotte and King George III, but the series surprised me in a thousand different ways and I cried during the six chapters it lasts, I wish it had had one or two more chapters and that they had addressed a little more the histories of the secondary characters, but it is understood that they were secondary and that this season did not focus on them, so we can only pray that they bring out more stories of more characters, at least more characters that are not directly related to the Bridgertons, although now I want to see the story of the mother of all of them.
The Great Experiment, the perfect excuse to make a woman of color to be promised to King George and try to unite the society of whites and blacks, that is the basis of all the stories that take place in Bridgerton, and all that began with Charlotte, who was promised to the king as his handcuff, taken from her country, her family, her culture, having to start a giant adaptation process to try to survive in a place where her mere existence in a place of so much power already created more problems than they could expect. This is the story of how the relationship and love between Charlotte and George began, although we will see much more than that, just pay attention.

Desde que vi el trailer desde hace muchos meses supe que amaría la historia de la Reina Charlotte y el Rey George III, pero la serie me sorprendió de mil formas diferentes y lloré durante los seis capítulos que dura, ojalá hubiera tenido uno o dos capítulos más y que hubieran abordado un poco más las historis de los personajes secundarios, pero se entiende que eran secundarios y que esta temporada no se centraba en ellos, así que solo nos queda rogar para que saquen más historias de más personajes, al menos más personajes que no enten relacionados directamente con los Bridgerton, aunque ahora quiero ver la historia de la madre de todos ellos.
El Gran Experimento, la excusa perfecta para hacer que una mujer de color sea prometida al Rey George y se intente unir la sociedad de los blancos y los negros, esa es la base de todas las historias que tienen lugar en Bridgerton, y todo eso comenzó con Charlotte, quien fue prometida al rey como su esposada, sacada de su país, de su familia, de su cultura, teniendo que comenzar un proceso de adaptación gigante para tratar de sobrevivir en un lugar donde su mera existencia en un lugar de tanto poder ya creaba más problemas de lo que se podían esperar. After the almost meaningless drama that took place in the second season of Bridgerton, it was very refreshing to see a very well done story where all the pieces fit together perfectly and you don't even notice the effort to make everything that way. I started watching the first chapter while eating and I couldn't, I had to eat first and then continue watching it, this for a very simple reason, and that is that in the first scenes we are going to see with perfect clarity the way Charlotte was treated as an object that was sold to the British monarchy to fulfill the role of being the king's wife and have as many children as possible in the hope of preserving the royal bloodline. I hated and still hate Charlotte's brother with all my soul, not even the intensity of the love that arises between Charlotte and George will be able to erase the humiliation of her being sold and him telling her that she should be grateful that it happened. I hate it.
This story is going to have two timelines, the past, showing us the beginnings of Charlotte and George's relationship; and the present, taking place after the events of Bridgerton's second season. In the past we will see how their relationship develops, how she learns of George's illness and the way she decides to deal with it, her first pregnancy, as we already know she had 15 children, while understanding and accepting her place in society, coming to intervene for people of color and women to keep things moving forward in favor of all of them. In the future we will see how she deals with her sons and daughters so that one of them will have a son who will become the next king or queen of England.
Después del drama casi sin sentido que tuvo lugar en la segunda temporada de Bridgerton, fue muy refrescante ver una historia muy bien hecha donde todas las piezas encajan a la perfección y ni siquiera se nota el esfuerzo de que todo sea así. Comencé a ver el primer capítulo mientras comía y no pude, tuve que comer primero y después continuar viéndolo, esto por una muy simple razón, y es que en las primeras escenas vamos a ver con perfecta claridad la forma en que Charlotte fue tratada como un objeto que fue vendido a la monarquía británica para que cumpliera el rol de ser la esposa del rey y tuviera la mayor cantidad de hijos posibles con la esperanza de preservar la linea de sangre real. Odié y sigo odiando al hermano de Charlotte con toda mi alma, ni la intensidad del amor que surge entre Charlotte y George podrá borrar la humillación de que ella haya sido vendida y que él le dijera que debería estar agradecida de que eso haya sucedido. Lo odio.
Esta historia va a tener dos lineas de tiempo, el pasado, mostrándonos los inicios de la relación entre Charlotte y George; y el presente, teniendo lugar después de los eventos de la segunda temporada de Bridgerton. En el pasado veremos cómo se desarrolla su relación, cómo ella se entere de la enfermedad de George y la forma en que decide afrontarla, su primer embarazo, pues ya sabemos que tuvo 15 hijos, a la vez que entendía y aceptaba su lugar en la sociedad, llegando a intervenir por las personas de color y de las mujeres para que las cosas siguieran avanzado al favor de todos ellos. En el futuro veremos cómo ella lidia con sus hijos e hijas para que alguno llegue a tener un hijo que se convierta en el siguiente rey o reina de inglaterra.
The casting of the young characters was done to perfection, they managed to emulate even the slightest movement and expression of each character we had already seen. We already knew Queen Charlotte played by Golda Rosheuvel, who plays an exquisite and perfect role, but India Amarteifio playing her young version did an expectacular job, because not only we saw a different version of her, more free, more informal, so to speak, more emotional (I just remembered all the times Charlotte's brother told her she was being emotional and should calm down, I hate it more and more), then that allowed us to see a different and fresh version of an already established character, and while that usually makes things worse, here it only enriched the story a thousand times more.
One of my favorite things was that we not only saw the story of Charlotte and George, but we also saw the creation of who would become Ladu Danbury and what her life was like before she had a title of her own that didn't depend on a man. We also met Lord Ledger, the father of Violet Bridgerton, the mother of all the main characters in the series, and it was amazing, the grandchildren are an exact copy of how whorish they can be, although they are going to detest Violet's mother, and they are also going to detest the rest of the world in general, it's horrible how true to reality it is, the amount of racism and sexism there is, scary, very scary.
El casting de los personajes jóvenes fue hecho a la perfección, lograron emular hasta el más mínimo movimienyo y expresión insigne de cada personaje que ya habíamos visto. Ya conocíamos a la Reina Charlotte interpretada por Golda Rosheuvel, que hace un papel exquisito y perfecto, pero India Amarteifio interpretando a su versión joven hizo un trabajo expectacular, pues no solo vimos una versión diferente de ella, más libre, más informal, por decirlo de cierta forma, más emocional (acabo de recordar todas las veces que el hermano de Charlotte le dijo que estaba siendo emocional y debía calmarse, lo odio cada vez más), entonces eso nos permitió ver una versión diferente y fresca de un personaje ya establecido, y si bien eso suele empeorar las cosas, aquí solo enriqueció la historia mil veces más.
Una de mis cosas favoritas fue que no solo vimos la historia de Charlotte y George, si no que también vimos la creación de quién se convertiría en Ladu Danbury y cómo fue su vida antes de tener un título propio que no dependía de un hombre. También conocimos a Lord Ledger, el padre de Violet Bridgerton, la madre de todos los protagonistas de la serie, y fue increíble, los nietos son una copia exacta de lo prostitos que pueden llegar a ser, aunque van a detestar a la madre de Violet, y también van a detestar al resto del mundo en general, es horrible lo fiel que es a la realidad, la cantidad de racismo y machismo que hay, miedo, mucho miedo.
 
This last paragraph I'm going to dedicate to Brimsley and Reynolds, the King and Queen's assistants. The two of them melted my heart horribly, I demand with all my will to die a series about the relationship of the two of them, I mean, we see them constantly struggling with their feelings and how they can get to interfere in their real duties, plus we are constantly going to see that they only want the best for the person they are taking care of, even if they suffer in the whole process. That scene completely destroyed me and I hated that they didn't give more information, even though we already know, but I still don't want to know, why do they have to show them dancing away from everyone, and then we see Brimsley dancing alone? They didn't have to be so cruel, that was horrible. I dislike them, I want more of that story, it's time to look for fanfics.
I know I'm forgetting a lot of things to say, but ñe, ah, I remembered, that I cried a lot with George, how this one stayed away from Charlotte to not hurt her and worry her because of his sickness, and how he did even the impossible, submitting himself to all kinds of tortures, that we know were used in real life, to try to become a 'normal' person and so maybe deserve her love. I would talk about the negative aspects of Queen Charlotte, but it's starting to give me a migraine, so I don't want to, but yes, as I said in the title and as one of her sons comes to tell her, she was a Queen to them, but not a mother, and that is a painful truth that no love story between her and George can hide.
Este último párrafo se lo voy a dedicar a Brimsley y Reynolds, los asistentes del Rey y la Reyna. Ellos dos derritieron mi corazón horriblemente, exijo con todas mis ganas de morir una serie sobre la relación de ellos dos, o sea, los vemos luchar constatemente con sus sentimientos y cómo estos pueden llegar a interferir en sus deberes reales, además de que constantemente vamos a ver que ellos solo quieren lo mejor para la persona que están cuidando, aunque sufran en todo el proceso. Esa escena me destruyó por completo y odié que no dieran más información, aunque ya sabemos, pero igual no quiero saber, ¿por qué tienen que mostrarlos bailando alejados de todo el mundo, y después vemos a Brimsley bailando solo? No tenian que ser tan crueles, eso fue horrible. Me caen mal, quiero más de esa historia, es momento de buscar fanfics.
Sé que se me olvidan muchas cosas que decir, pero ñe, ah, lo recordé, que lloré mucho con George, cómo este se alejaba de Charlotte para no herirla y preocuparla a causa de su enferdad, y cómo hacía hasta lo imposible, sometiéndose a todo tipo de torturas, que sabemos que eran usadas en la vida real, para tratar de convertirse en una persona 'normal' y así quizás merecer el amor de ella. Hablaría de los aspectos negativos de la Reina Charlotte, pero me está comezando a dar migraña, así que no quiero, pero sí, como dije en el título y como uno de sus hijos llega a decirle, ella fue una Reina para ellos, pero no una madre, y esa es una verdad dolorosa que ninguna historia de amor entre ella y George puede ocultar.
