Llegamos a la segunda temporada de un total de cuatro que son en total. Como ya lo he dicho siempre he sido un fanático del anime, desde joven lo había visto, pero es verdad que a través de los años me alejé un poco de este mundo hasta que di con esta serie, cosa de la cual no me arrepiento en lo absoluto.

As I have already said, I have always been a fan of anime, since I was young I had seen it, but it is true that through the years I moved away from this world a bit until I came across this series, which I do not regret in absolute.

Al ver la primera temporada quedé en shock de lo increíble y brutal que es este animé, de su historia, animación, personajes, etc y es por eso que decidí seguir adelante y continué viéndola hasta el final, es decir, hasta la primera parte de la cuarta y ultima temporada. Pero como vamos por orden para el día de hoy toca hablar de lo que fue y de lo más relevante que nos dejó aquella segunda temporada.

When I saw the first season I was shocked at how incredible and brutal this anime is, its history, animation, characters, etc. and that is why I decided to go ahead and continue watching it until the end, that is, until the first part of the fourth and final season. Como se acordarán en la parte final de la primera temporada aquella batalla épica entre Eren y la Titan Femenino, que al final terminó siendo Annie, compañera del batallón de Eren y los demás, la muralla quedó con desperfectos dejando al descubierto un titan dentro de sus muros el cual está inactivo por la falta de luz solar. Y es en este punto donde aparece el pastor Nick, un miembro de un secta religiosa quien tiene un gran secreto acerca del origen de todas estas murallas pero que se niega a compartirlo con Hange.

En paralelo, dentro la muralla Rose aparecen varios titanes pero la razón de eso se desconoce, se dice que puede que hayan ciertas brechas en los muros por lo que se decide evacuar a los pueblos y cuya misión está a cargo de la tropa de reclutas 104 en la que están Reiner, Sasha, Connie, Ymir y Bertholdt. Durante dicha misión aparece otro titan, uno nuevo y que hasta ahora no se había dejado ver, el Titan Bestia, quien le arrebató un Equipo de Maniobras Tridimensional a otro recluta quien lo abandona frente a otros titanes.

Sigue pasando el tiempo y esta tropa 104 sigue su camino y pasan por Ragako, pueblo Connie, el cual parece haber sido destruido por un gran grupo de titanes. Lo raro de todo esto es que precisamente sobre la casa de Connie hay un Titan sumamente extraño el cual no puede moverse ya que todas sus extremidades al parecer no están desarrolladas.

Mientras tanto otra parte de la tropa 104 seguía revisando las murallas para ver si en efecto había una brecha pero no consiguieron nada por lo que las dudas crecieron acerca del como aparecieron esos titanes dentro de las murallas. En Trost, Eren, Armin, Mikasa y Levi al enterarse de que el castillo Utgard está repleto de titanes van a la ayuda de sus compañeros.

Meanwhile, another part of the 104th troop continued to check the walls to see if there was indeed a breach but they did not achieve anything so doubts grew about how those titans appeared inside the walls. Estos titanes logran rodear el castillo quienes al parecer son controlados por el Titan Bestia y ponen en serios problemas a la tropa hasta que de la nada Ymir decide revelar su identidad y se transforma en Titan logrando matar a unos cuantos titanes. Esto no es suficiente y justo cuando estaban al borde de la muerte llegan Eren y los demás y salvan la noche.

These titans manage to surround the castle who are apparently controlled by the Titan Beast and put the troop in serious trouble until out of nowhere Ymir decides to reveal his identity and transforms into a Titan managing to kill a few titans. This is not enough and just when they were on the verge of death Eren and the others arrive and save the night.

Esta actuación "heroica" de Ymir no convence al grupo quien decide llevarla a Trost para que sea juzgada por su "traición" y es en ese preciso momento cuando ocurre el hecho más significativo de toda esta temporada, Reiner y Bertholdt también deciden revelar sus identidades siendo los titanes Acorazado y Colosal respectivamente.

This "heroic" performance by Ymir does not convince the group who decides to take her to Trost to be judged for her "betrayal" and it is at that precise moment when the most significant event of this entire season occurs, Reiner and Bertholdt also decide to reveal their identities being the Titans Armored and Colossal respectively.

Estas revelaciones hacen que Eren empiece una batalla en contra estos dos titanes la cual termina siendo inútil, donde Bertholdt logra rescatar a Ymir y aprovecha de llevarse a Eren igualmente consiguiendo así escapar. Los dos grandes titanes emprenden una huida siendo perseguidos por la patrulla de reconocimiento liderada por el Comandante Erwin el cual su único objetivo es rescatar a Eren.

These revelations make Eren start a battle against these two titans which ends up being useless, where Bertholdt manages to rescue Ymir and takes advantage of taking Eren as well, thus managing to escape. The two great titans undertake a flight being pursued by the reconnaissance patrol led by Commander Erwin whose only objective is to rescue Eren.

Es así cuando los 2 titanes llegan al Bosque de Arboles gigantes donde deciden esperar a que sea de noche para poder escapar con más calma. Pero al poco tiempo se percatan que la Patrulla de Erwin está cada vez más cerca y tras una maniobra bastante arriesgada que involucra a otro grupos de titanes, el comandante pierde un brazo pero logra rescatar a Eren quien atrapado totalmente por la ira descubre otro poder con el que es capaz de controlar a los titanes a su antojo.

This is how the 2 titans arrive at the Forest of Giant Trees where they decide to wait until it is night to be able to escape more calmly. But soon after they realize that Erwin's Patrol is getting closer and closer and after a rather risky maneuver that involves other groups of titans, the commander loses an arm but manages to rescue Eren who, completely trapped by anger, discovers another power with the one who is able to control the titans at will.

Después de todo esta revuelta, Reiner, Bertholdt y Ymir logran escapar hacia la muralla María donde deciden que es lo que pasará ahora en adelante ya que su objetivo de llevar Eren hasta la ciudad natal de ellos no fue alcanzado.

After all this revolt, Reiner, Bertholdt and Ymir manage to escape towards the Maria wall where they decide what will happen now from now on since their objective of taking Eren to their hometown was not reached.

Es en este punto donde termina esta segunda temporada, es la más corta de las cuatro que van hasta ahora pero creo que la más sorpresiva de todas. Attack on Titan es increíble e invito a todos que si quieren y tienen la oportunidad de verla lo hagan porque es una serie muy épica.
