Into The Night is a Netflix Original Apocalyptic sci-fi series where an Italian Major working for NATO boards a plane after being informed that the sun has become hazzardous, quickly killing everything in it's path as it makes it's way around the world from morning until night.

The series made in a mix of English, French, Italian and Dutch languages, shows the passengers on the plane as they travel from location to location trying to stay one step ahead of the sun.

At each safe location they find they must land refuel and replenish food, water and medicine resources in a limited time and take off before the sun reaches them.

They are met on landing with gruesome scenes of devastation as cities have burned and people have died from overheating, while also trying to survive amongst the constant in fighting for leadership.

Over the 6 episode long series we are brought through the trials and tribulations of each character, the type person they are, background and people each has left behind.

At first many couldn't believe what was happening as the on board Wi-Fi wasn't working and the Italian Major was frantic, which at first appeared as if he was hijacking the plane, but once it became clear he had saved there lives, they began to realise that in order to survive they must put their differences aside and work together to survive.

An unusual but believable storyline with many twists and plots, that I found rather enjoyable to watch.

Although the storyline is unusual it is original, I don't think I have seen another similar series, definitely one to watch if you enjoy the apocalyptic genre.

MY CONCLUSION

A really enjoyable watch, I didn't know what to expect at first but as the series progressed I found it quite good, an interesting yet unusual story with added twists at every landing, if you enjoy genres with an apocalyptic feel you will surely enjoy this series.
