The Good Teacher (Pas de vagues)

I'm on the side of those who think we're losing our Western world with all the nonsense society imposes as norms of conduct, which are changing so many things. Some don't even realize it, but we're getting weaker every day. The world is turning upside down. Luckily, I won't see how this ends. I feel sorry for my descendants, but I don't care, and to hell with it all. My future grandchildren and great-grandchildren won't care at all.

This film touches on a very serious issue, and I'm sure something similar could be happening right now, somewhere in the Western world. Especially in Europe, where the seeds of self-destruction have been sown.

The film is set in a school. There's a young, handsome teacher who could charm anyone. Of course, the actor who plays him is good-looking. Here, it's important that the teacher be physically attractive; This story wouldn't work if the teacher were ugly and obese.

Because of things like what happens in this film, I'm even less interested in being a teacher. I never have been one. I'm not one of those people who have a vocation for teaching. I only did it when I was young and ran theater workshops. By the way, I had affairs with some of the women who ran the workshops, and if that happened now in a European country, I'd probably be publicly shamed or accused of all sorts of nonsense.

The film shows how a simple, completely unfounded accusation can destroy a person's life. Because it's not enough that the act, the harassment, didn't happen, that it's a fabrication or a misunderstanding. It doesn't matter if the investigation doesn't find conclusive evidence; the damage is already done. The media, social networks, and people immediately become judge and executioner and condemn the accused.

It's because of things like this that you can't blindly believe an accusation, and that's why the presumption of innocence exists. But nowadays, it seems society completely ignores the presumption of innocence. The deep-seated hatred within each person is unleashed; they seize these moments to destroy others. Even if there's no crime and it's proven that everything was fabricated. The damage is already done.

The film handles the thriller aspect well, and I liked how the bureaucratic mechanisms of the school environment close ranks. Always pointing the finger, always turning a blind eye to the true victim, just to protect reputations and remain aligned with absurd laws and rules.

It's a film worth watching; I recommend it. If you're a teacher, I'll just say that you have to be very careful, especially if you're as handsome as the protagonist. A misunderstanding, or a simple joke with a teenager, can get you into serious trouble. It doesn't matter if you haven't done anything wrong; to the rest of the world, you'll always be the villain.

Estoy del lado de quienes piensan que estamos perdiendo nuestro mundo occidental con todas las tonterías que la sociedad impone como normas de conducta, que están cambiando tantas cosas. Esta película toca un tema muy serio, y estoy seguro de que algo similar podría estar sucediendo ahora mismo, en algún lugar del mundo occidental. Especialmente en Europa, donde se han sembrado las semillas de la autodestrucción.

La película está ambientada en una escuela. Hay un profesor joven y apuesto que podría encantar a cualquiera. Por supuesto, el actor que lo interpreta es guapo. Aquí, es importante que el profesor sea físicamente atractivo; Esta historia no funcionaría si la profesora fuera fea y obesa.

Por cosas como las que suceden en esta película, me interesa aún menos ser profesora. Nunca lo he sido. No soy de las que tienen vocación para la enseñanza. La película muestra cómo una simple acusación, completamente infundada, puede destruir la vida de una persona. Porque no basta con que el acto, el acoso, no haya ocurrido, que sea una invención o un malentendido. Da igual que la investigación no encuentre pruebas concluyentes; el daño ya está hecho. Los medios de comunicación, las redes sociales y la gente se convierten inmediatamente en juez y verdugo y condenan al acusado.

Es por cosas como esta que no se puede creer ciegamente una acusación, y por eso existe la presunción de inocencia. Pero hoy en día, parece que la sociedad ignora por completo la presunción de inocencia. El odio arraigado en cada uno se desata; aprovechan esos momentos para destruir a los demás. Incluso si no hay delito y se demuestra que todo fue inventado. El daño ya está hecho.

La película maneja bien el aspecto de thriller, y me gustó cómo los mecanismos burocráticos del entorno escolar cierran filas. Siempre señalando con el dedo, siempre haciendo la vista gorda ante la verdadera víctima, solo para proteger reputaciones y seguir alineados con leyes y reglas absurdas.

Es una película que vale la pena ver; la recomiendo. Si eres profesor, solo diré que tienes que tener mucho cuidado, especialmente si eres tan guapo como el protagonista. Un malentendido, o una simple broma con un adolescente, puede meterte en serios problemas. No importa si no has hecho nada malo; Para el resto del mundo, siempre serás el villano.
