A horror comedy with a totally crazy story, but I recommend it to have a good time, laughing at the absurd situations and the feast of death.

What is the crazy plot of Two Heads Creek?
Norman and Anabelle are brothers and their Polish mother just passed away. They live in England, where the post brexit environment is in full swing. Norman runs the Polish butcher shop and they are constantly insulted by people who want them out of the UK. Both discover that their real mother lives in Australia and decide to go to that country, specifically to the city called Two Heads Creek. When they arrive at that strange place, they have a bad feeling, due to the disturbing behavior of the inhabitants. Soon they will discover the terrible secret hidden in Two Heads Creek.

When we finish watching the movie, one of the questions we will ask ourselves is how can this madness be financed? The answer is this: there are films for all tastes.
Two Heads Creek is an honest movie, the crazy story it tells is planned for us to have fun. It is a mix of comedy and horror films. It is a film that does not pretend to be a deep work, nor to create a new paradigm of the genre. It's just a crazy movie that wants to satisfy the tastes of those who love black humor and bloodshed for those of us who love gore.
That is the difference between a bad movie, which is many, that tries to give seriousness and importance to an absurd plot. In this case, the formula works wonderfully. I've had fun with every joke, some are even daring, for the times.
The part of the film that I liked the most was the orgy of blood, viscera and amputated bodies in the last part of the film. Everything happens very fast and it's crazy, but those of us who like this kind of absurd horror comedy will be happy.
The villagers, each one crazier than the other, is another quite funny part. Characters who represent all the stereotypes of the disturbed inhabitants of the depths of Australia.
The film is a comedy, but it doesn't stop touching on the subject of immigration, racism and xenophobia today. From the humiliations the protagonist receives in England, for being Polish, to the insults he receives in Australia for being European. Everything is captured in a comical tone, but there are people who think and say things against foreigners, like those expressed by some characters in the film.

The film's director is Jesse O'Brien, an Australian filmmaker who in 2013 made the short film Arrowhead , about a mercenary trapped on a planet, where he must survive while being rescued. Three years later, with a new script, he made the film with the same title Arrowhead, resulting in a fairly acceptable low-budget science fiction film. With Two Heads Creek, he makes a foray into comedy and horror, with good moments. He still has to experiment more, but the good taste he has left with this film, will make me wait for his next project.
Jordan Waller, is the lead actor. He plays Norman, the clumsy butcher, who will go with his sister to look for his real mother. The actor has participated in several television series, the most important of which is Victoria. He also worked in the movie The Darkest Hours. But there is an important detail, the script of Two Heads Creek is written by him. Therefore, he is very involved in the final result of this delirious and bloody comedy. I liked the crazy story, I hope he gets excited to continue writing scripts.
Actress Kathryn Wilder plays Norman's sister, Annabella, a struggling woman who will not be trampled upon by anyone. Her previous work includes roles in Frontera, Al lis la Verdad and Murder on the Orient Express. Her character makes a perfect match for Norman, while he is a bit of a dork and a sissy, she is tough on the fight. Together they will have to face all the crazy people that inhabit this city that does not appear in any map of Australia.

Bloody comedy, with an absolutely absurd story, horrible characters and scenes full of madness and black humor. If you like these crazy movies, I recommend you to have fun.

My Ranking: 2.9/5
