Prison Escape.
One of Kurt Rusell's first movies as an action hero, this wasn't something he was known for previously.He does play the role very well and these days no one thinks twice if Kurt plays a hard hitting action hero. This movie didn't have the CGI that we come to expect from movies these days.Not a bad movie if you ignore the way the secret service agents handled the situation on air force one. Eseentially enjoy the action and don't think too much.
The government brings in an ex bank robber who is also an ex special ops veteran. He is promised a presidential pardon if he can rescue the president. The government of course doesn't leave it at that, to ensure that their chosen guy completes the mission or dies trying they inject him with a deadly virus. He gets the antidote once the president is delivered.
