Mutant Chronicles
Just watched Mutant Chronicles, it is set in the 23rd century with Earth's resources just about gone. Four companies now do battle for the remaining resources and control. During a battles scene an ancient artifact is uncovered, which releases and new enemy and hence threatens to destroy man. A group of priests are aware of this and have a sacred book, fortelling it's resurrection and ultimate destruction. I watched it because it had John Malkovich, and Ron Perlman.
The storyline isn't that original and I found it hard for a movie that was set in the 23rd century that the warfare, armour, battles tactics all had the feel of a first world war movie. Overall an average movie, and glad I didn't see at the cinemas.
