In Detroit?
Maybe they should have made it Los Angles instead, both have high crime, but LA has the tech, just saying. Either way it is an interesting look at the future, which may be closer than we think. Big business running everything with minimal oversight.
This they manage to do by using a policeman that was "killed". They build him a new body, think of six million dollar man if you are old enough, but with a full body replacement. The new police officer is called Robocop, and of course attracts the attention of the local crime lord.
This movie is over the top, and very violent. Being a Hollywood movie no real surprise that the good guy wins. It is still worth watching, but not one of the must own movies.
