The Beginning?
Is the future set, even if you can go back in time?
After his time at the academy he manages to become part of the crew on the very new USS Enterprise, along with all the characters you would expect such as Uhura, Checkov, and of course Bones. Getting on the Enterprise is one thing, now he must overcome various obstacles including Spock before "history" can proceed down the proper path.
If you like Star Trek and haven't seen this then you really should as this film manages to stay true to the series and also open up new directions for the franchise to take. Not to mention the special effects are everything that you expect from a modern day Star Trek movie.
