Hello everyone dear community of The Anime Realm, I hope you are well... this time I want to share with you a new anime, today I will talk about School Babysitters. A very chill anime, ideal to relax and rest a little from the epic fights and complicated dramas... in this anime everything is a pink mountain of tenderness and sentimentality. I went in expecting a cute and fluffy anime about kids, and while it definitely delivered on that, I was also pleasantly surprised with some much deeper emotional moments and some issues that left me a bit pensive...
First, the kids are absolutely the stars of the show in this series, I mean, they're ridiculously adorable. The anime does its job perfectly.. it gives each little guy a unique personality that feels so real, we have Kotaro, Ryuichi's little brother, who is super stoic and mostly just nods and grunts.. he's the cutest thing ever. Then you have Taka, the loud and energetic one who is always causing a ruckus, Kirin, the sweet angry girl sometimes.. and obviously we have the twins.. who are also super fun and adorable, they become a very funny duo, where Takuma is the cheerful one and Kazuma is the crybaby. And obviously we have Midori, the baby of the group, who is a tender ball of joy. The way they interact and how they behave is very unique and genuine...they really act like real kids, and that's very funny and adorable...I think the funniest and most entertaining thing is watching the different interactions between them, and also the way they talk to the adults.
I found myself laughing out loud at their antics and just melting at their vast tenderness...the creators clearly did their homework or pulled these experiences from their own personal lives, because these are kids that really feel like real kids, they're not just anime characters. And I think both the way they are portrayed and how they approach the different ways of having a healthy relationship with them can be very interesting and educational at the same time.. because not just anyone can have experience with children, and an anime like this, that gives you humor, but also moments of sensitivity and emotion, can help you imagine yourself in this kind of situations.. me for a person who doesn't really like children, there were some moments where I wondered if it would really be so bad to have one haha, because it really is very adorable.

Hola a todos querida comunidad de The Anime Realm, espero que estén bien.. en esta ocasión quiero compartirles un nuevo anime, hoy les hablaré de School Babysitters. Un anime bastante chill, ideal para relajarse y descansar un poco de las peleas épicas y de los dramas complicados.. en este anime todo es una montaña rosa de ternura, y sentimentalismo. Yo entré esperando un anime lindo y esponjoso sobre niños, y aunque definitivamente cumplió con eso, también me sorprendió gratamente con algunos momentos emocionales mucho más profundos y algunos problemas que me dejaron un poco pensativo..
Primero, los niños son absolutamente las estrellas del espectáculo en esta serie, quiero decir, son ridículamente adorables. El anime hace su trabajo perfectamente.. les da a cada pequeñín una personalidad única que se siente tan real, tenemos a Kotaro, el hermano pequeño de Ryuichi, que es súper estoico y mayormente solo asiente y gruñe.. es lo más lindo del mundo. Luego tienes a Taka, el ruidoso y enérgico que siempre está causando alboroto, a Kirin, la dulce niña enojona a veces.. y obviamente tenemos a los gemelos.. que también son superdivertidos y adorables, se convierten en un dúo muy gracioso, donde Takuma es el alegre y Kazuma el llorón. Y obviamente tenemos a Midori, la bebé del grupo, que es una bola tierna de alegría. La forma en la que se relacionan y cómo se comportan es muy única y genuina.. realmente se comportan como verdaderos niños, y eso es muy divertido y adorable.. creo que lo más divertido y entretenido es ver las diferentes interacciones entre ellos, y también la manera en que hablan con los adultos.
Me encontré riendo a caracajadas con sus travesuras y simplemente derritiéndome por su vasta ternura.. los creadores claramente hicieron su tarea o sacaron estas experiencias de sus propias vidas personales, porque son unos niños que realmente se sienten como niños reales, no son solo personajes de anime. Y creo que tanto la manera en la que se representan y cómo se abordan las diferentes maneras de entablar una relación sana con ellos puede ser muy interesante y a la vez educativo.. ya que no cualquier persona puede tener experiencia con niños, y un anime como este, que te brinda humor, pero también momentos de sensibilidad y emoción, te pueden ayudar a imaginarte a ti mismo en este tipo de situaciones.. yo para ser una persona que no le gustan mucho a los niños, hubo algunos momentos en los que me pregunté si de verdad sería tan malo tener uno jaja, porque realmente es muy adorable.

Talking a bit about the “main” plot, of this anime, we are introduced to brothers Ryuichi and Kotaro, with a sense of underlying sadness in their expressions and in their lives, as they lost their parents in a plane crash.. this was a pretty depressing premise, and although the anime touches on it, I feel like they didn't fully explore these things.. I think the emotional depth of this loss is not explored in a direct enough way, I was expecting more moments where we see these two brothers dealing with their grief, but although there are certain chapters that touch on this and it can make you feel a little sad, this is quickly overshadowed by the light tone that dominates most of the episodes... I feel it was a missed opportunity, in my opinion, because if they were balanced this better, the result would have been much more interesting.
Now, speaking of the adults, some of them I consider to be simply somewhat problematic.. there are some behaviors that, although they are there for laughs, don't feel entirely necessary and are even somewhat questionable, both some of the siblings of the little ones and some of the parents. I feel like they don't pay enough attention to it... there's also the issue of Kirin's father, who has a bit of a weird vibe and that, if you look at it in a more analytical tone, I think the adults, or the parents, end up being more walking jokes or absurd stereotypes than real role models or responsible parents. I hope I'm getting my point across... plus the humor sometimes feels weird and doesn't quite work for me.

Hablando un poco de la trama "principal", de este anime, se nos presentan a los hermanos Ryuichi y Kotaro, con una sensación de tristeza subyacente en sus expresiones y en sus vidas, ya que ellos perdieron a sus padres en un accidente aéreo.. esta fue una premisa bastante deprimente, y aunque el anime la toca, siento que no exploraron completamente estas cosas.. creo que la profundidad emocional de esta pérdida no se explora de manera suficientemente directa, esperaba más momentos en los que vemos a estos dos hermanos lidiando con su dolor, pero aunque si hay ciertos capítulos que tocan esto y puede llegar a hacerte sentir un poco triste, esto rápidamente se ve opacado por el tono ligero que predomina en la mayoría de los episodios.. siento que fue una oportunidad perdida, en mi opinión, ya que si fueran equilibrado mejor esto, el resultado fuera sido mucho más interesante.
Ahora, hablando de los adultos, algunos de ellos considero que son simplemente algo problemáticos.. hay algunos comportamientos que, aunque están ahí para dar risa, no se sienten del todo necesarios e incluso son algo cuestionables, tanto algunos hermanos de los pequeños como algunos padres. Siento que no le ponen la suficientemente atención necesaria.. también está la cuestión del padre de Kirin, que tiene una vibra un poco rara y que, si te pones a verlo en un tono más analítico, creo que los adultos, o los padres, terminan siendo más chistes andantes o estereotipos absurdos que verdaderos ejemplos reales o padres responsables. Espero que se me estén entendiendo.. además que el humor en ciertas ocasiones se siente extraño y no termina de funcionar del todo para mí.

On the other hand, the school principal is a character that I did come to like.. she has that tough exterior, but inside she is really warm, she deals with some of the kids' problems in her own way, and while some of her solutions may not be the best, they are portrayed as effective. We also have in the anime some romantic subplot, which is there, but it feels half-hearted.. we have Inomata, who ends up being the typical tsundere who denies her feelings.. this archetype is not my favorite, and sometimes I ended up feeling that it was quite annoying.. Overall, the romance feels overdone.. as if the writers felt they had to include it, just because, and that makes it lose realism and naturalness.. i didn't really connect with any of the girls, i guess the most interesting one is Inomata, but even with this i feel it has quite a few effects.
One thing that really stood out to me was how the children's personalities and behavior made the group dynamics much more interesting and realistic, even more so than the teenage characters themselves... it would have been easy to make all the little ones boring and typical characters, but I think the biggest advantage of this anime is the unique way each personality is portrayed. This obviously makes the interactions much funnier, and also adds a layer of realism that I had already told you I ended up liking a lot.

Por otro lado, la directora de la escuela es un personaje que sí me llegó a gustar.. tiene ese exterior duro, pero por dentro es realmente cálida, lidia con algunos de los problemas de los niños a su manera, y aunque algunas de sus soluciones pueden no ser las mejores, se representan como efectivas. También tenemos en el anime cierta subtrama romántica, que está ahí, pero se siente a medias.. tenemos a Inomata, que termina siendo la típica tsundere que niega sus sentimientos.. este arquetipo no es mi favorito, y algunas veces terminé sintiendo que era bastante molesto.. En general, el romance se siente de más.. como si los escritores sintieran que tenían que incluirlo, porque sí, y eso hace que pierda realismo y naturalidad.. realmente yo no conecté con ninguna de las chicas, supongo que la más interesante es Inomata, pero aún con esto siento que tiene bastantes efectos.
Una cosa que realmente me llamó la atención fue como las personalidades y comportamiento de los niños hicieron que la dinámica grupal fuera mucho más interesante y realista, incluso más que los propios personajes adolescentes.. habría sido fácil hacer que todos los pequeños fueran unos personajes aburridos y típicos, pero creo que la mayor ventaja de este anime es la forma tan única de representar cada personalidad. Esto obviamente hace que las interacciones sean mucho más graciosas, y también agrega una capa de realismo que ya les había comentado que terminó gustándome mucho.

As for a recommendation, I would say that if you like cute anime, full of adorable characters, you should definitely give it a chance. I feel like the best part are the adorable little kids, as their personalities are super well developed, however, if you are one of those people who are looking for a lot more emotional depth, or want to see a super interesting romance, or something more emotional, bordering on tragic, well you may end up somewhat disappointed. I would give this anime a 7/10 rating. It's not bad, but it's definitely not one of the best either... obviously the kids are a highlight, thanks to their personalities, but obviously they can't save the whole show... I felt a lot of missed opportunities, problematic and pointless adult characters, which bring the hype down a bit. But well, if you haven't given it a chance, you could do it and tell me what you think... tell me what you thought in case you have already seen it... En cuanto a la recomendación, yo diría que si te gustan los animes tiernos, llenos de personajes adorables, definitivamente deberías darle una oportunidad. Siento que lo mejor son los pequeños y adorables niños, ya que sus personalidades están súper bien desarrolladas, sin embargo, si eres de aquellas personas que buscan mucha más profundidad emocional, o quieres ver un romance súper interesante, o algo más emotivo, rozando lo trágico, pues puedes acabar algo decepcionado. Yo le daría a este anime una clasificación de 7/10. No es malo, pero definitivamente no es de los mejores tampoco.. obviamente los niños son un punto destacado, gracias a sus personalidades, pero obviamente no pueden salvar todo el programa.. sentí muchas oportunidades perdidas, personajes adultos problemáticos y sin sentido, que hacen que el hype baje un poco. Pero bueno, si no le han dado una oportunidad, podrían hacerlo y me dicen qué tal.. cuéntenme qué les pareció en caso de que ya los hayan visto.. espero que les haya gustado esta reseña, nos vemos en la próxima, cuídense mucho, bye bye.
