Well in case you missed it, after 22 long years Ash Kechum from the anime series Pokemon has finally won a Pokemon League and is now at least finally considered a Pokemon Champion.

As much as I want to be happy for Ash's first victory on a Pokemon League tournament, I just can't help feel disappointed with how this league (Alola) was handled.
If you haven't seen yet this Sun and Moon (Alola) league it is quite different from the previous Pokemon leagues. The first round was a freaking battle royale wherein if I'm not mistaken on the numbers, 151 contestants are to battle against each other until only 16 contestants remain. I don't know if I'm overthinking this but seems unfair to trainers with no friends LOL.
It is worth to note though that the Alola region don't have Gym Leaders and this is also Alola's first ever Pokemon League tournament, so with that fact I'm thinking that the league organizers really don't have any other way to filter down contestants but with a battle-royale style. Disappointing move but somewhat acceptable. XD
I still can't get over on Ash's win against Hau (https://steemit.com/esteem/@jlordc/hau-vs-ash-pokemon-rant) . That was the most BS episode I have ever seen and I have watched ALL Pokemon episodes. I know it wasn't Ash's fault but the referee already declared Hau as the winner only to be cruelly taken away by his own grandfather just because the referee do his part well.
Also, everything about this league was anti-climactic. Ever since Ash 's Litten lost to Royal Mask's pokemon and when the league announced that whoever wins the Alolan league will get to have an exhibition match against Royal Match, I was already 100% sure that Ash will win the league just to have a rematch against Royal Mask.
I also personally think that this season, the pokemon Ash uses were the weakest. Most of the Pokemon he used in the Alola league were not even fully evolved Lol God knows that the main reason he only won was because of his plot armor (again to have a rematch with Royal Mask).
Out of all the Pokemon leagues Ash participated, the only time where Ash really had what it takes to be a champion was the Kalos league. I would have been very satisfied and will have no complaints if he won that league instead of this Alolan league. His development on the Kalos region was one-of-a-kind. His starting pokemon fully evolved and learned many awesome techniques. I really though he would won that league. Sad to say he won the weakest league (Alola).
