So I've been reading some chapters of the manga 'Vinland Saga' this past few days after I saw it's Anime adaptation on KissAnime's Hot list and thought that it would be a good series to read.
I haven't watched the anime version yet btw since I normally start with the manga first to immediately caught up with the series and therefore potentially avoid possible spoilers.
Anyways, it all started great with all the epic battle scenes and all the action but it all started to go downhill after the end of the first main story arc. Like I really started to lose interest and might actually drop this series at the moment given how boring and disappointing the direction the story is going.
I won't say much but to sum it all in just one pic as to why the series has started to go boring for me, it would be this:
Not that I love seeing violence and deaths, but given how the first story arc played out I honestly thought that this would be a series focused mostly on battles battles battles and epic~ness. Instead the second story arc is now focusing on 'farming', growing crops and living a peaceful life by not retaliating no matter how anyone bullies you just because of the 'no violence' motto thing of the MC.
