Hola Hivers amantes de las películas, en esta ocasión he decidido mostrar mi opinión sobre la película The Hunt, una producción que podemos disfrutar en la plataforma de HBO MAX, como es de costumbre analizaré algunos aspectos de esta producción y al final le otorgaré un puntaje desde mi percepción y gusto personal, ¡a cazar!.
Esta es una película estrenada en el año 2020 que podemos catalogarla dentro del género de Thriller de acción, aunque también posee un poco de suspenso me parece no tan relevante para la trama, al mismo tiempo se convierte en una sátira sobre la división de clases sociales envuelta en un marco de comedia con escenas de humor negro de principio a fin.
Sinopsis:
Un grupo de personas despiertan en medio de un bosque para luego saber que un grupo de millonarios los cazan como un deporte, en medio de esta cacería humana descubren que una de las víctimas es diferente al resto y que podría hacer que el juego se vuelque en contra de esos sádicos adinerados.
Análisis
En ocasiones elijo una película sin saber mucho sobre esa producción, esto lo hago con la finalidad de crear sorpresas alrededor de esa película elegida, en este caso confieso que no sabía absolutamente nada más que el nombre que me daba cierta idea de lo que vería, pensaba que iba a ver una película sangrienta con la combinación de trama sobre una de las víctima que decide vengarse de sus captores y darles una cucharada de su propia medicina. Desde una primera impresión pensaba que vería una secuencia parecida en parte a la serie de películas Hostel, sin embargo, no se puede realizar esa comparación con esta producción por diferentes razones que mencionaré a continuación.
Comedia
Si bien es una película con violencia dentro de una sátira social, la comedia tiende a ser la protagonista de la trama, desde el primer dialogo muestra que la producción será una comedia basada en el humor negro con impactantes heridas, mucha sangre, disparos en incluso explosiones. Desde mi punto de vista esta comedia que envuelve a la trama le da un toque de personalidad a esta producción, si bien en mi caso no me lo esperaba, me pareció un buen complemento que a lo largo de una secuencia partidaria o divisoria desde un punto de vista social donde las muertes están a la orden del día.
Ese agregado de humor negro hace que la película cuente una historia que todos conocemos en el mundo del cine pero de una manera distinta e inesperada. En lo particular pienso que este es uno de los puntos más fuertes de esta producción, si bien en muchos casos la comedia no es muy buena o significativa crea un ambiente interesante para el espectador.
Protagonista
Correrán los minutos y no sabremos quién es el protagonista de esta historia, en un principio se muestra una gran cantidad de muertes sobre personajes cuya aparición pareciera ser más significativa, esto genera un ambiente de sorpresa en el cual cualquier cosa puede pasar. Al llegar a la protagonista nos muestra un personaje muy particular, Crystal es una persona aparentemente normal pero ya en cierto minuto de la producción nos daremos cuenta que no es así.
El personaje de Crystal me gustó, si bien la actuación no es lo más significativo, me parece que el personaje impulsado por la tendencia feminista le da un buen guiño a la película. En cierto punto de la producción nos parecerá más perturbador el personaje de Crystal que el de cualquier otro villano expuesto en la trama por lo cual me parece otro aspecto acertado para contar esta historia con un toque psicótico añadido a la protagonista.
Crítica Social
Es evidente que la trama de esta película gira entorno a la exposición de una crítica social, una división en la cual los poderosos y adinerados pueden controlar a placer el destino de los que se encuentran en escalas inferiores de la sociedad, incluso argumentando que las personas con trastornos pueden ser un peso significativo para la economía, sin embargo, tocando en cierto punto la influencia de las masas y la información que puede desenmascarar a los poderosos o por el contrario hacer que se vuelquen contra ellos.
Al observar esta producción podemos identificar un sentimiento oculto de la protagonista, que en cierto momento desea ser igual que ellos, su perturbadora confesión en la cual deseaba un momento como el que está viviendo y haciendo alusión de su verdadera personalidad, por lo cual puede estar luchando una batalla de vida o muerte pero con la posibilidad de convertirse en uno de ellos para cazar a otras personas. En ese sentido podemos notar una perturbación psicológica muy marcada en el personaje principal que además de darle un toque de personalidad a la película puede estar haciendo referencia un pequeño grupo que esconden sus verdaderos deseos y pretensiones en cuanto a la sociedad.

Opinión Final
A mi parecer la película cuenta con aspectos en los cuales puede otorgarle entretenimiento al espectador, sin embargo, me parece que en las escenas sangrientas se diluye la impresión debido a la comedia, la cual me parece insuficiente para otorgarle un puntaje más alto, por otro lado no es de esas películas de venganza ya que ese sentimiento de injusticia no es algo que se le trasmita adecuadamente al espectador.
La trama por su parte tampoco presenta una historia significativa, emocionante o sorpresiva que haga sobresalir a esta producción dentro del género, si bien hay varios giros en la trama que pueden descolocar en cierto punto al espectador luego se tornan predecibles. Este film básicamente es una matanza envuelta en una comedia de humor negro, la producción en diversos aspectos no va más allá de lo ordinario.
¿La Recomiendo?
Aunque se puede encontrar entretenimiento aun con la simplicidad de la narrativa, esta película se la recomiendo a las personas que buscan una historia básica pero con muertes y sangre, que se sientan atraídos por la cacería de un grupo elite a ciudadanos comunes que puede volverse en su contra, quizás para pasar el rato la producción puede cumplir con la misión de entretener, sin embargo, se debe tener en cuenta que no sería una película profunda que trasmita emociones fuertes. En lo particular creo que a muchos les parecerá una película simplemente ordinaria.

This is a film released in the year 2020 that we can catalog it within the genre of Action Thriller, although it also has some suspense it seems to me not so relevant to the plot, at the same time it becomes a satire about the division of social classes wrapped in a comedy framework with scenes of black humor from beginning to end.
Synopsis:
A group of people wake up in the middle of a forest to later learn that a group of millionaires are hunting them as a sport, in the middle of this manhunt they discover that one of the victims is different from the rest and that could turn the game against those wealthy sadists.
Analysis
Sometimes I choose a movie without knowing much about that production, I do this with the purpose of creating surprises around that chosen movie, in this case I confess that I knew absolutely nothing more than the name that gave me some idea of what I would see, I thought I was going to see a bloody movie with the combination of plot about one of the victims who decides to take revenge on his captors and give them a spoonful of their own medicine. From a first impression I thought I would see a sequence similar in part to the Hostel film series, however, no such comparison can be made with this production for different reasons that I will mention below.
Comedy
Although it is a film with violence within a social satire, the comedy tends to be the protagonist of the plot, from the first dialogue shows that the production will be a comedy based on black humor with shocking wounds, lots of blood, gunshots and even explosions. From my point of view this comedy that surrounds the plot gives a touch of personality to this production, although in my case I did not expect it, I thought it was a good complement to a partisan or divisive sequence from a social point of view where deaths are the order of the day.
That addition of black humor makes the film tell a story that we all know in the world of cinema but in a different and unexpected way. In particular I think this is one of the strongest points of this production, although in many cases the comedy is not very good or significant, it creates an interesting atmosphere for the viewer.
Protagonist
The minutes will run and we will not know who the protagonist of this story is, at first it shows a lot of deaths on characters whose appearance seems to be more significant, this creates an atmosphere of surprise in which anything can happen. When we get to the protagonist we are shown a very particular character, Crystal is a seemingly normal person but at a certain point in the production we will realize that it is not so.
I liked Crystal's character, although the performance is not the most significant thing, it seems to me that the character driven by the feminist tendency gives a good nod to the film. At a certain point in the production we will find Crystal's character more disturbing than any other villain exposed in the plot so it seems to me another successful aspect to tell this story with a psychotic touch added to the protagonist.
Social Criticism
It is evident that the plot of this film revolves around the exposure of a social critique, a division in which the powerful and wealthy can control at will the fate of those in lower echelons of society, even arguing that people with disorders can be a significant weight for the economy, however, touching at a certain point the influence of the masses and the information that can unmask the powerful or on the contrary make them turn against them.
Watching this production we can identify a hidden feeling of the protagonist, who at a certain point wishes to be just like them, her disturbing confession in which she wished for a moment like the one she is living and alluding to her true personality, for which she may be fighting a life and death battle but with the possibility of becoming one of them to hunt other people. In that sense we can notice a very marked psychological disturbance in the main character that besides giving a touch of personality to the film may be making reference to a small group that hide their true desires and pretensions in terms of society.

In my opinion the film has aspects in which it can provide entertainment to the viewer, however, it seems to me that in the bloody scenes the impression is diluted due to the comedy, which seems insufficient to give it a higher score, on the other hand it is not one of those films of revenge since that feeling of injustice is not something that is adequately transmitted to the viewer.
The plot does not present a significant, exciting or surprising story that makes this production stand out within the genre, although there are several twists in the plot that can dislocate the viewer at some point then become predictable. This film is basically a slaughter wrapped in a black humor comedy, the production in several aspects does not go beyond the ordinary.
Do I recommend it?
Although entertainment can be found even with the simplicity of the narrative, I recommend this film to people who are looking for a basic story but with death and blood, who are attracted by the hunt of an elite group to common citizens that can turn against them, perhaps to pass the time the production can fulfill the mission to entertain, however, it should be taken into account that it would not be a deep film that conveys strong emotions. In particular, I think many will find it a simply ordinary film.
