Las personas que me conocen, saben muy bien que la cocina no es algo que se me da muy bien, solo sé cocinar platos básicos, a pesar de eso, admiro a las personas que se dedican a este trabajo, el que yo no lo haga no significa que no lo vea como un arte, en una ocasión escuché la frase de que el cocinar es uno de los estilos de arte más importante, debido a que entra en nuestro organismo y nos produce vida, aunque también puede causar muerte, en ese sentido me parece un tema con un potencial significativo para entretenernos.
Hace algunas semanas tuve la oportunidad de ver y reseñar para esta comunidad la película Menú, otro filme que toma la comida como tema principal, me gusto tanto esa producción que al ver esta propuesta en Netflix llamada Hambre no dude en verla, además, es una producción tailandesa, por lo que la curiosidad aumentaba con respecto a este filme. ¿Tienes Hambre?.
Sinopsis:
Aoy es la cocinera de un pequeño restaurante familiar, es una joven con un gran talento para preparar las deliciosas comidas en ese humilde lugar. Al notar el talento de Aoy se le presenta la oportunidad de trabajar en el equipo del chef Paul, quien orgullosamente dirige la compañía Hunger cuyos contratos son exclusivos para la elite social.
Análisis de la Película
Un tema que comúnmente se introduce en el argumento de este tipo de filmes es la división o las diferencias entre clases sociales, la comida es indudablemente un símbolo de status social y la narrativa se encarga de hacernos entender la comida desde una perspectiva social puede ser algo exclusivo e inalcanzable para un sector de la sociedad, por supuesto, hablamos de esos famosos chefs que elaboran platillos con ingredientes que no son de fácil acceso para todos.
Siempre me han gustado las historias en donde se introduzca una crítica social, evidentemente al tratarse de comida, saboreamos un poco de esa crítica no solo desde un punto de vista gastronómico sino que también desde la fama que conlleva ser uno de los chefs más cotizados en la élite social.
Desde el principio, la historia se saborea como algo ligero y predecible, la cocinera humilde que elaboran un exquisito plato con los ingredientes más elementales en su cultura, que posteriormente es llevada con ese exclusivo chef que exprimirá todo su jugo.
Si hablamos del argumento, es sólido y con mucho potencial, sin embargo, en cuanto a su narrativa, se queda algo corto, guiándose por un sendero algo básico y seguro, sin embargo, siendo una producción entretenida en líneas generales.
Actuaciones y Personajes
Este filme nos entrega unos personajes interesantes, pero que desde mi humilde opinión se queda corto en cuanto a actuación, no pude sentir mucha empatía con la protagonista, por momentos el guion la colocaba en un silencio abrumador y sin un lenguaje corporal que convenciera en su totalidad.
Desde mi punto de vista el aspecto negativo más notorio radica en la actuación y en el desarrollo de los personajes, me hubiese gustado un guion un poco más atrevido, así como la comida del chef Paul, sin embargo, así como lo he mencionado anteriormente, termina siendo una película entretenida a pesar de estos aspectos que radican solamente bajo mi opinión personal.
Fama
Además del tema de la comida y el entorno social implícito en este tipo de argumento, la película nos muestra algo que le otorga un condimento especial, que es una carrera por la fama, por mantener la atención y tener cautivo a la elite, literalmente comiendo de la mano.
¿Qué estás Dispuesto a hacer por Mantener la Fama?
La fama es una adicción en muchos casos, tener la atención de esa gente poderosa y millonaria, suplicando por el servicio del chef, es algo a lo que termina siendo una adicción, sin embargo, como es común en cualquier ámbito laboral, al pasar los años vendrá una generación con talento e ideas frescas, por lo que se teme a una súbita caída desde la cúspide del éxito hasta quedar sepultado en el olvido. El filme nos muestra las consecuencias y lleva a la protagonista a tomar una decisión que puede cambiar el futuro de ella y de su familia entera.
A pesar de que esa línea argumental se puede decir que es algo repetitiva en la moralidad de la industria del cine, me parece que termina siendo un buen condimento, sobre todo, para la última etapa del filme.
Familia
Toda película que toque al menos algunas pinceladas de temas familiares me agrada, en este caso, la familia es la base de todo, desde el comienzo la protagonista está muy relacionada con su familia, sin embargo, esos cambios en el trabajo y la subida de fama como la espuma, la empujan fuera de ese círculo tan importante para su estabilidad mental. A mi parecer es una buena manera de recordar que la familia es lo más importante.

El filme resulta ser entretenido, con algunos momentos buenos y otros quizás limitados por las actuaciones, sin embargo, desde mi punto de vista vale la pena verla debido a que además de otorgar entretenimiento, viene con un mensaje interesante envuelto en un filme con pinceladas de thriller.
No es una obra de arte, sin embargo, vale la pena verla y degustar este filme.

Sí, es una película que posee una interesante dosis de entretenimiento, como en muchos casos, falla en algunos aspectos, pero que si se observa de manera generalizada, nos otorga una buena experiencia. Pienso que sería más interesante para aquellos que adoran cocinar o que bien consumen mucho contenido sobre chefs famosos, en mi caso particular, no necesité ser fan de la cocina para disfrutar el sabor de este filme.

From my point of view the most notorious negative aspect lies in the acting and in the development of the characters, I would have liked a script a little more daring, as well as the food of chef Paul, however, as I mentioned before, it ends up being an entertaining film despite these aspects that lie only under my personal opinion.

Although this plot line can be said to be somewhat repetitive in the morality of the film industry, it seems to me that it ends up being a good seasoning, especially for the last stage of the film.

Any film that touches at least some touches of family issues pleases me, in this case, the family is the basis of everything, from the beginning the protagonist is closely related to her family, however, those changes at work and the rise of fame like foam, push her out of that circle so important for her mental stability.
