Hola cinéfilos, hoy quiero realizar una reseña diferente a lo que he venido haciendo en esta comunidad, a pesar de que es una película, no es de las que usualmente reseño, sin embargo, quise adentrarme en esta animación y saber si es realmente entretenida, he visto que a muchos les gusta, pero, ¿vale la pena verla? Como siempre, intentaré responder esta pregunta basado en mis gustos y opinión personal, hoy quiero comentarles sobre: Injustice: Gods Among Us
Confieso que anteriormente no había visto una película de este tipo, de animación sobre los superhéroes de DC, me encantan las producciones de superhéroes desde que tengo conciencia, pero la verdad que, además de las clásicas series animadas para niños no había visto este tipo de producciones, que, si bien son animaciones, son enfocadas para un público más adulto.
HBO Max me mostró esta película en la pantalla de inicio, ciertamente me convenció y decidí ver algo diferente a lo que acostumbro a ver. Es una película es estrenada en octubre del 2021 y nos propone una historia en un universo alternativo de estos grandiosos héroes de DC.
Sinopsis:
En un universo alternativo, Superman es engañado por el Joker y hace que asesine a Lois Lane, lo cual hace que Superman tenga un gran sentimiento de venganza que lo lleva a decidir a tomar las riendas de la justicia mundial en sus manos, volviéndose policía y juez del planeta por encima de otros lideres y gobiernos, los héroes se dividen y se enfrentan contra Superman y la Mujer Maravilla.
Análisis de la Película
Me llamó la atención esta historia porque la reconocía desde hace algún tiempo, de hecho, es la historia de un videojuego lanzado años atrás con el nombre de Injustice. Un videojuego que se volvió muy famoso y que cuya intro realmente se volvió viral para los gamers y fanáticos de DC para aquel momento. Una épica intro donde mostraba como Superman simplemente se salía de sus casillas y con una gran sed de venganza atraviesa el cuerpo del Joker con su mano, el Joker expida su última carcajada y allí comienza el videojuego.
Lo que sorprende tanto en el videojuego como en esta historia es que se sale de lo que conocemos como un guion clásico para las historias de superhéroes, adentrándose en un camino más oscuro y lleno de sangre vengativa. Esto es lo que en definitiva atrae a los fanáticos, una historia diferente a lo que veíamos en las clásicas caricaturas de la televisión, un Joker asesinado por Superman atravesándolo, es algo en lo cual por un momento pensamos “se lo merecía” pero al mismo tiempo pensamos que el Superman de nuestra infancia no cometería tal acto.
Muertes y Sangre
Otro aspecto en el que nos cambia esta historia a las que de niños veíamos, es que los personajes mueren, es decir, personajes que son intocables simplemente son cruelmente asesinados. No sabemos quien realmente terminara vivo al final de la película y eso genera una incertidumbre que nos hace estar atentos hasta el final. Ciudades destruidas y millones de muertos, además, tocando temas sensibles en cuanto a la familia, algo impensado en cuanto a historias de superhéroes hace algún tiempo, al menos para mí.
Superman el Dictador del Mundo
Una de las grandes preguntas para cualquiera que haya visto en algún momento las caricaturas, películas o comics de DC es, ¿Qué pasaría si Superman se volviera malvado?, el superhéroe mas poderoso de ese universo, convenientemente con la moral alta pero que en un universo alternativo se vuelve malvado, ¿Qué seria del planeta si eso sucede?, esta película nos lleva a experimentar esa sensación, aunque Superman no se convierte en un villano, pero si se convierte en un dictador con mano de hierro. Es una historia en definitiva muy atractiva y con un potencial gigantesco para cualquier fan de DC, incluso de mis escenas favoritas en la película La Liga de la Justicia es la batalla con el Superman recién resucitado, es algo muy llamativo.
Debo decir que la historia del videojuego a pesar de tener la misma base la trama cambia en algunos aspectos, notamos que el Superman está mucho más decidido en su nuevo proyecto dictatorial y es más despiadado, al igual que el tema del multiverso también es un aspecto que cambia entre ambas historias.
La película nos invita a revisar esta posibilidad, donde el héroe más poderos se convierte en un dictador donde en ocasiones pierde la cabeza y comete actos atroces, lo que seria un dios gobernando con mano de hierro la tierra, sin nadie más que le puede hacer frente más que el mismo.
Animación
La animación es buena, de cierto modo recordando el aspecto clásico de las caricaturas, pero agregando detalles visuales notorios, una calidad visual que, a pesar de su simplicidad, es vistosa y entretenida, parece que volvemos a ser niños por momentos, sin embargo, algo que no veíamos de niños era la sangre correr y en esta película la sangre se puede observar, no en exageración, pero si en los momentos donde debería observarse. Desde mi punto de vista este estilo de animación es atractiva visualmente.

La historia es interesante, sin embargo, creo que es una mezcla de otras películas y otras tramas conocidas en las películas de héroes que se conjugan en una sola historia, sin embargo, este aspecto le otorga un buen ritmo a la película, la cual observamos lo que deseamos ver desde el principio, acción. A mi juicio la película cumple con entretener al espectador, otorgando una historia que desde la sinopsis nos genera intriga y curiosidad, incluso eliminando personajes “intocables” de este universo.
Una película bastante interesante y que seguramente muchos de los fans de DC disfrutarán, aunque debo decir que no estoy muy relacionado con los comics, así que no tengo el conocimiento para discernir si esta historia en los comics se desarrolla de manera distinta, al menos en el videojuego si posee algunos cambios, pero creo que muchos estarán conformes.
Como lo he mencionado al principio, no es el tipo de película que suelo ver, de hecho, no recuerdo cual fue la ultima que vi con este estilo, sin embargo, me ha dejado un buen sabor de boca y estoy seguro que disfrutaré de otras películas de este estilo de animación en el servicio de streaming de HBO Max.

Si, me parece una película entretenida, una animación que evidentemente es para adultos y que combina ciertos recuerdos por el estilo visual, pero con un toque oscuro que hace que el espectador se mantenga atento hasta el final. Sin dudas una buena opción para una película animaba de superhéroes con una historia distinta a lo usual que nos ofrece muchas veces las películas de este tipo, la recomiendo abiertamente.

As always, I will try to answer this question based on my tastes and personal opinion, today I want to tell you about: Injustice: Gods Among Us.
I confess that previously I had not seen a movie of this type, animation about DC superheroes, I love superhero productions since I have consciousness, but the truth is that, besides the classic animated series for children I had not seen this type of productions, which, although they are animations, are focused for a more adult audience.
HBO Max showed me this movie on the home screen, it certainly convinced me and I decided to see something different from what I usually watch. It is a movie is released in October 2021 and proposes us a story in an alternate universe of these great DC heroes.
Synopsis:
In an alternate universe, Superman is tricked by the Joker and makes him murder Lois Lane, which makes Superman have a great feeling of revenge that leads him to decide to take the reins of world justice in his hands, becoming police and judge of the planet over other leaders and governments, the heroes are divided and face against Superman and Wonder Woman.
Movie Analysis
This story caught my attention because I had recognized it for some time, in fact, it is the story of a video game released years ago under the name of Injustice. A video game that became very famous and whose intro really went viral for gamers and DC fans at the time. An epic intro where it showed how Superman simply went out of his mind and with a great thirst for revenge pierces the Joker's body with his hand, the Joker gives his last laugh and there begins the video game.
What is surprising both in the video game and in this story is that it departs from what we know as a classic script for superhero stories, going into a darker path full of vengeful blood. This is what ultimately appeals to fans, a story different from what we saw in the classic TV cartoons, a Joker killed by Superman going through him, is something in which for a moment we think "he deserved it" but at the same time we think that the Superman of our childhood would not commit such an act.
Death and Blood
Another aspect in which this story changes from the ones we saw as children, is that the characters die, that is, characters that are untouchable are simply cruelly killed. We do not know who will really end up alive at the end of the movie and that generates an uncertainty that makes us be attentive until the end. Destroyed cities and millions of dead, in addition, touching sensitive issues regarding the family, something unthinkable in terms of superhero stories some time ago, at least for me.
Superman the Dictator of the World
One of the big questions for anyone who has ever seen DC cartoons, movies or comics is, what would happen if Superman became evil, the most powerful superhero of that universe, conveniently with the moral high ground but in an alternate universe becomes evil, what would become of the planet if that happens, this movie takes us to experience that feeling, although Superman does not become a villain, but he does become a dictator with an iron fist. It is ultimately a very engaging story with gigantic potential for any DC fan, even of my favorite scenes in the Justice League movie is the battle with the newly resurrected Superman, it is something very striking.
I must say that the story of the video game despite having the same base the plot changes in some aspects, we notice that Superman is much more determined in his new dictatorial project and is more ruthless, just as the theme of the multiverse is also an aspect that changes between both stories.
The film invites us to review this possibility, where the most powerful hero becomes a dictator where he sometimes loses his mind and commits atrocious acts, which would be a god ruling the earth with an iron fist, with no one else who can stand up to him but himself.
Animation
The animation is good, somewhat reminiscent of the classic cartoon look, but adding noticeable visual details, a visual quality that, despite its simplicity, is eye-catching and entertaining, it seems that we are children again at times, however, something we did not see as children was blood running and in this film blood can be seen, not in exaggeration, but in the moments where it should be seen. From my point of view this style of animation is visually appealing.

The story is interesting, however, I think it is a mixture of other movies and other plots known in hero movies that are conjugated into a single story, however, this aspect gives a good pace to the film, which we observe what we want to see from the beginning, action. In my opinion the film fulfills to entertain the viewer, giving a story that from the synopsis generates intrigue and curiosity, even eliminating "untouchable" characters of this universe.
A quite interesting movie and that surely many DC fans will enjoy, although I must say that I am not very related to the comics, so I do not have the knowledge to discern if this story in the comics is developed differently, at least in the video game if it has some changes, but I think many will be satisfied.
As I mentioned at the beginning, it is not the kind of movie I usually watch, in fact, I do not remember the last one I saw with this style, however, it left a good taste in my mouth and I am sure I will enjoy other movies of this style of animation on the HBO Max streaming service.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, I find it an entertaining movie, an animation that is obviously for adults and that combines certain memories for the visual style, but with a dark touch that makes the viewer stay attentive until the end. Undoubtedly a good choice for an animated superhero movie with a different story to the usual that often offers us films of this type, I recommend it openly.
