A veces cometemos el error juzgar una película por su poster, algo así como el famoso dicho sobre los libros, como amante de las películas ha pasado que solo porque no me atrae el poster, pienso que la película se dirige a un rumbo diferente al que deseo ver con tan solo observar el poster, simplemente hace que pierda el interés, a veces eso es un error y encuentro personas recomendando esa película que a mi parecer no era atractiva, así me ha ocurrido con A Perfect Enemy, una película que deje pasar por varios días en Netflix, pero tan solo un Twitt de un buen amigo cinéfilo, cambió mi perspectiva de esta película.
El amigo Aderney Carrillo, mostró de una manera corta pero precisa su opinión sobre esta película en su twitter, comparándola con otra muy buena película que en lo particular me agradó mucho ver. Inmediatamente la coloqué en mi lista y pude verla ahora deseo comentarla para todos ustedes en la comunidad.
Sinopsis:
Jeremiasz Angust es un arquitecto distinguido, su traslado al aeropuerto es interrumpido por Texel Textor, una joven que deja entrar en el auto y que finalmente hace que perder su vuelo, ambos personajes, esperando en el aeropuerto comenzaran a conversar en un interesante duelo dialectico que cada vez se tornara en una oscura y siniestra conversación.
Análisis de la Película
Este film nos comienza introduciendo en lo que aparentemente es una historia sencilla, comenzamos a conocer el arquitecto Jeremiasz Angust hablando sobre la perfección y se va desenvolviendo una trama que quizás a primera vista no parece muy especial, sin embargo, cada detalle es importante para entender por completo el film, incluso los detalles que aparentemente carecen de importancia. Este es un segmento introductorio importante debido a que se plasma esa “normalidad” de los personajes, una aparente normalidad que poco a poco se va a ir desvaneciendo al correr los minutos.
Duelo Dialectico
La película posee una trama que gira alrededor de estos dos personajes, Jeremiasz Angust y Texel Textor, donde la chica poco a poco se vuelve una molestia para el arquitecto y donde se enfrentan a un duelo dialectico verdaderamente entretenido. Me parece muy interesante que un muy largo segmento de esta película se base en una conversación, un ambiente aparentemente espacioso como un aeropuerto, pero se trasmite la limitación del espacio al concentramos solo en dos personajes que a través de las palabras tratan de imponerse uno al otro.
Evidentemente la película no nos llevara por una conversación convencional entre ambos personajes, observaremos a través de otras escenas el relato que se está exponiendo, haciendo que se exalte primeramente el drama para posteriormente tocar aspectos misteriosos e incluso terroríficos, en ese sentido, la narración del personaje acompaña estas escenas que se vuelven esenciales para comprender el panorama completo del film, dando más valor a las palabras que a las propias imágenes.
Desde mi punto de vista, este duelo dialectico entre ambos personajes es lo mejor de toda la película.
Terror Psicológico
Este es uno de los aspectos característicos de esta película, en este caso, nada sobrenatural ocurre en todo el film, sin embargo, existe este tipo de terror donde una mente perturbada se convierte en la verdadera protagonista y el verdadero terror que se arraiga en las emociones envueltas en un telón de misterio. Poco a poco la película nos va introduciendo a un terror enfocado a lo psicológico que se va engrandeciendo al correr los minutos.
Intriga
Este aspecto causado por no saber lo que ocurre realmente o como terminará todo es significativo en el film, aumentando paulatinamente al correr lo minutos y afianzado por ese duelo dialectico entre ambos personajes, sin embargo, si estamos atento a lo que sucede quizás podamos ir resolviendo el misterio, pero difícilmente el espectador descifre todo lo ocurrido sin llegar al clímax de la película.
Actuaciones
Las actuaciones son muy buenas, tanto de los protagonistas Tomasz Kot, Athena Strates como también la de Marta Nieto que, aunque con poca aparición puede añadir un valor significativo a la producción.
Ese duelo dialectico se convierte en un duelo interpretativo interesante, realmente es muy entretenido observar a los protagonistas en sus encuentros y conversaciones. En lo particular pienso que la actriz sudafricana Athena Strates, quien interpreta la chica Texel Textor nos regala una actuación magnifica. Además de su elocuencia que intimida, sus gestos y movimientos son esenciales para su personaje, un personaje verdaderamente complejo, el que le da vida al film. ¡Aplausos!
Con lo que acabo de escribir no estoy diciendo que la actuación de Tomasz Kot sea mala, es muy buena también, comenzamos a ver su papel algo simple en un principio, pero al avanzar los minutos observamos un buen trabajo interpretativo bastante complejo. Desde mi punto de vista, me gustó más la interpretación de la joven sudafricana Athena Strates.

Este es el tipo de film en donde mis dedos desean escribir explicaciones y teorías, sin embargo, no quisiera arruinarle a otro usuario la experiencia y la sorpresa que la película posee. Es de esas producciones complejas que me agradan, buenos giros en la trama y una estructura muy entretenida a pesar de toda la película son conversaciones entre los protagonistas en un aeropuerto.
A veces es complicado reseñar este tipo de películas ante la posibilidad de escribir un spoiler ya que todo va correlacionado, por lo cual debemos estar atentos a los detalles para no perdernos y comprender en totalidad el film.
Es una película entretenida y con cierta complejidad, quizás para verla varias veces para poder extraer todos los detalles ocultos en el film. Este tipo de películas, con esas características me agradan mucho.
¿La Recomiendo?
Definitivamente si, es de esas películas que te vuelan la cabeza y coloca a pensar en todo lo ocurrido mientras comienzas a ver los créditos finales. Una película muy interesante que seguramente le gustará al público en general, sobre todo a los que se sienten atraídos por las tramas complejas y al aspecto psicológico. La recomiendo abiertamente.

This aspect caused by not knowing what really happens or how everything will end is significant in the film, gradually increasing as the minutes go by and strengthened by the dialectic duel between the two characters, however, if we are attentive to what happens we may be able to solve the mystery, but hardly the viewer decipher everything that happened without reaching the climax of the film.
Performances
The performances are very good, both of the protagonists Tomasz Kot, Athena Strates as well as Marta Nieto who, although with little appearance can add significant value to the production.
This dialectic duel becomes an interesting interpretative duel, it is really very entertaining to watch the protagonists in their meetings and conversations. In particular, I think that South African actress Athena Strates, who plays the Texel Textor girl, gives us a magnificent performance. Sometimes it is difficult to review this kind of movies because of the possibility of writing a spoiler since everything is correlated, so we must be attentive to the details in order not to get lost and understand the film as a whole.
It is an entertaining film with a certain complexity, perhaps to watch it several times to be able to extract all the details hidden in the film. I like this kind of films with these characteristics.
Do I recommend it?
Definitely yes, it is one of those movies that blows your mind and makes you think about everything that happened while you start watching the final credits. A very interesting film that will surely please the general public, especially those who are attracted to complex plots and the psychological aspect. I openly recommend it.
