Hola Hivers, hace poco estuve revisando la sección de novedades en Netflix, realicé una lista de esas producciones que me llamaban la atención de distintos géneros, en los últimos post para esta comunidad he compartido con todos ustedes esas nuevas producciones y el día de hoy quiero seguir con esa misma dinámica y opinar sobre una nueva película que quizás nos recuerde un poco a viejas películas del genero de acción, se llama La Chica en la Telaraña.
Así como lo he mencionado la podemos introducir al genero de acción, sin embargo, desde mi punto de vista es un thriller donde también observamos pinceladas de drama en una historia en que recordaremos producciones de espionaje. Es una película que tiene una duración aproximada de dos horas y a pesar de que he mencionado que se encuentra en la sección de novedades esta película estadounidense es del año 2018.
Sinopsis
Lisbeth, una hacker con dominio en tecnología y armas de fuero debe robar y destruir un programa que puede colocar a la humanidad al borde de una guerra nuclear, sin embargo, es un programa deseado por personas poderosas y peligrosas que desean el poder absoluto sobre el arsenal nuclear del mundo.
Análisis de la Película
Director
Este aspecto es uno de los que quizás muchos ignoramos antes de seleccionar una película para verla, sin embargo, en ocasiones el director puede ser esa característica que nos impulse a reproducir alguna película, en este caso saber que el director es Fede Álvarez para mi fue un aspecto esencial para observar esta película. A pesar de que no es un reconocido director o una leyenda en la industria tiene en su filmografía producciones interesantes, resaltando una película bastante comercial que muchos de nosotros hemos visto, se llama No Respires, además de dirigir esta buena película en mi opinión también posee otra particularidad.
Federico Álvarez es un director latinoamericano, es un uruguayo nacido en Montevideo por lo cual posiblemente sea un factor de interés para los espectadores de esta región del mundo, producir películas estadounidenses y que tengan un buen renombre siempre será algo aplaudible para esos artistas que nos regalan buenos momentos en la gran pantalla.
Historia
En lo particular me agrada ver este tipo de películas donde la inteligencia y la astucia se tornan por momentos los verdaderos protagonistas, me entusiasma ver hackers que desde una pequeña laptop pueden vulnerar sistemas de seguridad sumamente complejos y poderosos, en este caso no observaremos una película de hackers donde el protagonista solo sabe mover sus dedos al ritmo del teclado, nuestra protagonista es también una feroz luchadora con buenos movimientos de combate y una gran habilidad en cuanto a armas de fuego.
La historia desde la sinopsis y el tráiler es interesante, sin embargo, nos recuerda varias películas sobre todo las que se introducen en el genero de espías, ¿recuerdan alguna?, posiblemente recuerden las famosas películas de James Bond y esta película de cierta manera nos hace recordad esas producciones pero con un personaje distinto. Desde el comienzo del film podemos ver secuencias que recuerdan las películas del espía más famoso del mundo.
Este aspecto en particular puede ser bueno o malo dependiendo del criterio del espectador, en mi caso creo que puede ser algo positivo hasta cierto punto ya que se observan pinceladas características pero no una copia exacta ni mucho menos a las clásicas películas de Bond, evidentemente la calidad de las mismas difieren bastante.
Inclusión No Forzada
Otro aspecto resaltante es en cuanto a la protagonista, en esta tendencia de inclusión donde los personajes femeninos son cada vez mas relevantes en la industria cinematográfica, esta película que me parece inspirada en otras películas de espía nos muestra un personaje femenino diferente, con un pasado tormentoso y con habilidades extraordinarias, sin embargo, esta inclusión a diferencia de otras películas no se ver forzada y es agradable para el espectador, se puede sentir cierta afinidad hacia la protagonista que si bien tiene habilidades excepcionales no cruza la línea de la exageración o lo ridículo como en otras producciones. Me parece que uno de los puntos mas resaltantes es la protagonista de esta historia convirtiéndose en un excelente personaje muy bien adaptado a la trama.
¿Siempre Hay Una Posible Guerra Nuclear?
Este es quizás el aspecto que ya siento desgastado y trillado en este tipo de películas, creo que en mucha e infinidades de películas siempre esta en juego un programa para lanzar los misiles nucleares del mundo, esto es un argumento que me parece sobreexplotado en el cine. Si bien es un aspecto que es real y una posibilidad latente que vive nuestra generación creo que prefiero un argumento un poco mas original y creativo, no apartando en su totalidad este argumento de destrucción nuclear solo que las productoras pueden utilizar otros argumentos para formar una película, no solo existe este.
La Mejor Actuación del Reparto
A mi parecer la actuación que sobresale del reparto es la de la actriz Claire Foy, la que interpreta a la protagonista de esta historia, creo que su adaptación es excelente y con una buena actuación nos regala un excelente personaje femenino de acción.
Antagonistas
Observaremos antagonistas despiadados, con destellos de inteligencia pero inclinados a usar siempre la fuerza bruta, no soy un fan de este tipo de antagonistas que dan una sensación de ser inútiles, no hay un rival digno para esta buena protagonista, su contra parte es muy inferior y aunque por momentos parece ser superada por los villanos no notamos que estos antagonistas tengan dominio o control absoluto de las acciones por mas de 4 minutos. Desde mi perspectiva la película deja que desear en cuanto a los villanos o antagonistas, no hay un personaje que equilibre la balanza y esto para mi es algo bastante importante en una película sobre todo donde el poster, la sinopsis y tráiler muestran de manera implícita la astucia y la inteligencia.

Opinión Final
Me parece una historia trillada y la verdad no es algo muy novedosa en cuanto a la narrativa quizás exceptuando a la protagonista, otro aspecto que me agradó ver es el manejo de la tecnología y la astucia en algunas escenas. Esta película tiene acción suficiente como para ser entretenida, sin embargo, los antagonistas definitivamente no terminan de convencer.
En mi opinión no termina siendo una película totalmente de hackers, tampoco de espías, quizás el genero mas abundante es la acción pero no posee escenas muy significativas en enfrentamientos y algunas pinceladas en cuanto a efectos especiales.
¿La Recomiendo?
Es una película de acción con un condimento parecido a las películas de espionaje como James Bond, a pesar de ser una trama muy predecible creo que logra entretener a los amantes del género y los vengativos personajes femeninos, una producción que recomiendo ver para ser llevado por la corriente de una trama bastante conocida y con poca sorpresa, sin embargo, resulta entretenida hasta cierto punto debido a que a mi parecer la película posee minutos de más.

As I have mentioned we can introduce it to the action genre, however, from my point of view it is a thriller where we also observe touches of drama in a story in which we will remember spy productions. It is a film that has an approximate duration of two hours and although I mentioned that it is in the new releases section this American film is from the year 2018.

Lisbeth, a hacker with mastery in technology and fuero weapons must steal and destroy a program that can place humanity on the brink of nuclear war, however, it is a program desired by powerful and dangerous people who want absolute power over the world's nuclear arsenal.
Film Analysis
Director
This aspect is one that perhaps many of us ignore before selecting a film to watch, however, sometimes the director can be that feature that drives us to play some film, in this case knowing that the director is Fede Alvarez for me was an essential aspect to watch this film. Although he is not a recognized director or a legend in the industry he has in his filmography interesting productions, highlighting a fairly commercial film that many of us have seen, it is called No Respires, besides directing this good film in my opinion also has another particularity.
Federico Alvarez is a Latin American director, he is a Uruguayan born in Montevideo so it is possibly a factor of interest for viewers in this region of the world, producing American films and have a good reputation will always be something applaudable for those artists who give us good moments on the big screen.

From the beginning of the film we can see sequences reminiscent of the films of the most famous spy in the world.
This particular aspect can be good or bad depending on the viewer's criteria, in my case I think it can be something positive to a certain extent since characteristic brushstrokes are observed but not an exact copy nor much less to the classic Bond films, evidently the quality of them differ quite a lot.
Unforced Inclusion
Another highlight is regarding the protagonist, in this trend of inclusion where female characters are increasingly relevant in the film industry, this film that seems to me inspired by other spy movies shows us a different female character, with a stormy past and with extraordinary abilities, however, this inclusion unlike other films is not forced and is pleasant for the viewer, you can feel some affinity towards the protagonist that although she has exceptional skills does not cross the line of exaggeration or ridiculous as in other productions. It seems to me that one of the highlights is the protagonist of this story becoming an excellent character very well adapted to the plot.
Is There Always A Possible Nuclear War?
This is perhaps the aspect that I already feel worn out and trite in these types of movies, I think in many and infinite movies there is always a program in play to launch the world's nuclear missiles, this is an argument that seems to me to be overused in film. While it is an aspect that is real and a latent possibility that lives our generation I think I prefer a more original and creative argument, not setting aside in its entirety this argument of nuclear destruction only that the producers can use other arguments to form a film, there is not only this one.
The Best Performance of the Cast
In my opinion the performance that stands out from the cast is that of actress Claire Foy, who plays the protagonist of this story, I think her adaptation is excellent and with a good performance she gives us an excellent female action character.
Antagonists
We will observe ruthless antagonists, with flashes of intelligence but inclined to always use brute force, I am not a fan of this type of antagonists that give a feeling of being useless, there is no worthy rival for this good protagonist, her counterpart is very inferior and although at times seems to be overcome by the villains we do not notice that these antagonists have absolute dominance or control of the actions for more than 4 minutes. From my perspective the film leaves something to be desired in terms of villains or antagonists, there is no character that balances the balance and this for me is something quite important in a film especially where the poster, synopsis and trailer implicitly show cunning and intelligence.

Final Opinion.
It seems to me a trite story and the truth is not something very novel in terms of narrative perhaps excepting the protagonist, another aspect that I was pleased to see is the handling of technology and cunning in some scenes. This movie has enough action to be entertaining, however, the antagonists are definitely not convincing.
In my opinion it does not end up being a totally hacker movie, neither of spies, perhaps the most abundant genre is the action but it does not have very significant scenes in confrontations and some brushstrokes in terms of special effects.
Recommend it?
It is an action movie with a spice similar to spy movies like James Bond, despite being a very predictable plot I think it manages to entertain fans of the genre and vengeful female characters, a production that I recommend watching to be carried away by the current of a fairly familiar plot and with little surprise, however, it is entertaining to some extent because in my opinion the film has minutes too many.
